Seventh Son is a great movie that throws you right into the base of the story and doesn't take much time to get to some action. The action starts within the first few minutes. The movie focuses on an ancient group mythical knights fighting their equally mythical adversaries. More basically, it is a great movie focusing on the battle between good and evil. It brings some comedy to the subject which helps break it up a little. Overall a great adventure packed into a reasonable amount of time.

I bought this a few months ago, but I just recently got around to watching it, and even though there were a few things I disliked about it I enjoyed it. The Blu-ray has excellent picture/sound, and it was only $8. The best part is that since I got it at Best Buy it came with $7.50 (or $8, I can't remember for sure) towards a ticket to see The Huntsman: Winter's War in theaters! Which I used to see the movie for free on a $6 Tuesday at Regal, so I'm more than happy with the purchase.

This is an action packed fantasy about good and evil witches, Julianne Moore plays an evil witch who wants complete control. Special effects were exceptional and has a good story line.

Thought this movie was going to be better per previews, but it was still a good watch. The story goes fast, so don't be so quick to turn it off, because it's still good and worth seeing.

Love sci fi and fantasy this was a typical b rated fantasy movie if you lie, the type of show you will like this but it does have some parts that just don't ring right in fantasy shows

If you like fantasy movies, dragons and witches this movie is not bad. I was impressed with Bridges, but the other actors and actresses were great ( I did not like his pretend voice ).

I enjoyed this movie. Good action, nice special effects. I am a fan of Jeff Bridges as I was of his fathers. It didn't hurt to have Julianne Moore in here either, Hot lady.

the premise that this movie is based on is certainly different than one would expect but provides entertainment for those that can get by the seventh son premise.

Jeff Bridges does a fine job although sometimes difficult to understand with the mumbled dialect he uses. Kit Harington's character could have had a larger role.

I purchased this movie after searching all over for the 3D Version of the film. After endless searching I just gave up and decided to go ahead and purchase it in hopes that the 3 D version is not released later. Well, the day I purchased this version I checked ebay (completely forgot to check there) and lo and behold, there was the 3D version! I returned the 2D and was completely amazed by the 3D version!! Awesome special effects!!

At first, I wasn't too sure if I would like this movie, however, after having viewed it, I'd have to say that it is excellently done and is worth your time to view it.

My husband received this at his request as a Christmas gift and loves it. He has watched it through several times since Christmas and says it is a wonderful movie.

This movie I wanted to see at the theatre but didn't seem to get any good buzz so I waited for blu ray. Movie was really funny and good I would give it 8 out 10.

I bought the movie not having seen it at the theater. I thought it was a good movie and was worth the money. If you like medieval movies, this is worth the watch.

The film isn't exactly great, but it's a largely entertaining romp that's more inspired by than strictly faithful to Joseph Delaney's series of bestselling books.

Movie was delayed at box office so didn't get as much advertising at its release date, so it didn't get as many viewers as it deserved, well worth seeing.

Not the best Medieval Monster hunting movie, but not bad to watch. Jeff Bridges character must find and train the 7th son of the 7th son to help defeat evil.

I thought it was good entertainment with a cute little love story of a witch hunter and a witch. Kinda like forbidden fruit with some cool special effects.

Like so many of recent movies, this is Hollywood pandering to the teen market. In this case, it works. Good story, acting is decent, enjoyable to watch.
