The motor is on top and you can only vacuum for a short time before having to take a break to rest your arms. 2. Doesn't stand up. So while you're cleaning the vacuum is laying on the floor. Dangerous as you're constantly tripping over it. 3. Since it doesn't stand up and you need it out of the way while you're vacuuming you have to find something to lean it on. 4. There is no way to empty the dirt cup without the contents falling out. 5. The hooks for the cord are designed in such a way that they don't hold the cord. It falls off all the time. 6. It weighs way too much for a stick vacuum. 7. While you're winding up the cord, since the vacuum doesn't stand up, it's rolling away from you. Having the bottom on the floor doesn't stop it from rolling away. 8. While vacuuming it constantly clicks back into a locked position so you hav to stop and step on it again and again. This vacuum is going back. Good riddance.

Lasted only 5 months and then the motor melted.

I started buying them in 2015, buying the $150 variety and have just considered them disposable as they usually only lasted a year before something broke. Still, they outperformed everything under $700 for that year. I decided to splurge on this one back in August due to all the favorable reviews and thought for sure this one would last a little longer. Nope. I can no longer in good conscious continue to purchase vaccuum cleaners that are not worth fixing and that end up in the landfill. Going to give Riccar a try. Had I sprung for one in 2015, I'd probably be about even, less 5 vaccuums in the landfill.
