It is very powerful to suck up the fine dust and even larger debris from hard floors and carpets. It’s very maneuverable and versatile to be used both as upright and lift-way . May feel a little heavier but it’s not so heavy compared to the other brands in this category. I really like it as full-blown vacuum with powerful suction.

I bought this for my wife and she absolutely loves it. She used it on our tile and carpet floors and the house always looks great!

Best vacuum I’ve ever owned. We had lots of hardwood floor and two dogs. It picks up everything. Including cords and kids toys.

The suction of the vac is great. It is also very easy to maneuver. If there is any drawback, it is slightly heavy. Best part of using it is being able to remove the canister which gives great access under things. Far better than with the Dyson. We have a German Shepard which means constant shedding. The Apex is up to the taskk!

I just upgraded from an old shark vacuum we've had for two years. We vacuumed with our old one last night and then used this one today. This new vacuum picked up a ton of dirt left behind by the old one and even fluffed our carpets up nicely. I highly recommend this investment. I even saved $170 on it through a deal.

Does an amazing job, wish I would have bought this first

I owned a Dyson DC33 for several years. The drive head belt assembly broke. I could have fixed it but... I decided to buy the Shark. I'm blown away how fantastic the Shark is. Performs fantastic. I love the portability of this vac! Detach the motor to do stairs. Attachments are perfect! I'm glad my Dyson broke!

The vacuum has excellent suction. It sucks up even dust and dog hair. It is easy to use. Slightly heavier than my last shark. The suction is too powerful for throw rugs for the kitchen and bathroom. I wish it had a setting for that. I would buy it again and recommend it again

Bought this to replace a Dyson ball type vacuum and after cleaning just one room we found our Dyson didn’t extract much of anything. This Shark sucks hard and gets it all up - amazing! Also loving the fact that the canister pops one off and we can vacuum under the bed and nightstands easily.

I have been very happy with my new Shark. Switching from carpet to hard floor with a selector slide is convenient, as are the detachable handle and stick. I can vacuum my whole house in much less time now. It's also easy to clean and the suction is powerful. Love it!

At 70 yrs old, I've owned many vacuums and even sold Electrolux for a while. This vacuum is one of the best I've ever had the pleasure to use. It's straight forward, well designed, versatile, and quite powerful! I'd put it up against my 12 gl ShopVac any day!

This vacuum is the best by far I’ve been through 6 vacuums in 3 years, this one has the most powerful suction of all I’ve bought and still hasn’t gotten clogged I am so happy with this purchase I have 4 dogs and I am recommend this one all out

After many years of failed Dyson vacuums we decided to switch to Shark. First we bought the cordless one for small jobs, and then later bought this one. Very happy with the ease of use with the lift off container and its performance so far.

This Vacuum is powerful, and does a great job when in use. Adjustable settings for the floor types, along with multiple attachment modes makes it really easy to use this to clean stairs also.

The best sucking vacuum I’ve ever bought. We owned the competitors ball vacuum before. This one is 10x better. It’s modular so you can do just about anything with it. Our carpets look brand new after use. Love it.

My new Shark does a great job of vacuuming my new carpet. It is easy to handle and rotates easily. I am still learning how to use all of the features but am excited to try everything when I have time.
