Q: Does this come with the motorized pet tool?
A: No it doesn't
A: I love this vacuum but it is not very good for stairs. I tried using the handheld canister with an attachment but that didn’t get the carpeted stairs clean. I now use the power head but it is heavy to lift.

Q: Does this model have a washable filter?
A: Hello Nick, We are happy to confirm that the Shark® APEX® DuoClean® Powered Lift-Away® has a filter system that will last the life of your vacuum, with minimal maintenance and no replacement costs required. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team
A: It lifts the wall to wall carpet pile very nicely. For throw rugs, bath rugs it sucks them up and eats the rubber backing.
Q: Since it doesn’t have a hepa filter, what type of filter does it have?
A: Hello Deco, We are happy to confirm that the Shark® APEX® DuoClean® Powered Lift-Away® AX951 Bagless Upright Vacuum does have a HEPA filter. Along with the Advanced Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology®, it emits 10x fewer particles than HEPA standards require. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team
A: I believe it’s a BIG step up from the Shark Navigator Professional Lift-Away that we have been using ... and we LOVED IT ... but the Apex Duo-Clean’s suction is better, the Duo-Clean head makes sure nothing is missed, and the self-propelled head makes it so much easier
Q: Is this a good Vacum when your a pet owner and you only have carpet.
A: Pros: The vaccum Shark Apex has the best design, the double action made for front roller combined with the motorizaded brush and the awesome suction power, make this vaccum outstanding, definitely the best cleaning results you can get... But wait, please read cons. Cons: The quality is the worst you can get, for a $450 vaccum... After 2 months of used it will start to fall apart, if you return to the Best Buy store you will figure out this vaccum does not have a guarantee. If you purchased the extended warranty then they will charge you another $55 to renew your warranty. In less than a year changed 3 vaccums already... I love the cleaning performance but I cannot keeping loosing my money buy this cheap piece of garbage...
