• Hello Nick, We are happy to confirm that the Shark® APEX® DuoClean® Powered Lift-Away® has a filter system that will last the life of your vacuum, with minimal maintenance and no replacement costs required. The filters can be washed by rinsing them under warm tap water, and then let them air dry for at least 24 hours. The ilters will discolor over time but will not lose their effectiveness.
