Vacuum works really well on bare floors & low pile carpet. A little bit loud but not a deal breaker. I do wish you could adjust the pwer rather than it being automatic. Battery time is definitely better than my last Shark cordless vacuum.

Way better stick vacuum than dyson!

So far this stick vacuum has far exceed my expectations, im coming from a dyson V8 stick and this thing blows that away. The suction is solid sometimes a little too much, but you can easily change the settings by tapping a button. Also no longer need to depress a trigger the whole time you are vacuuming as this one has no trigger. The empty bin that collects all the dirt, hair, dust works wonders as well. Not only does it keep the vacuum canister cleaner it almost eliminated all dust when emptying it in the trash. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new stick vacuum. Also was able to do 2000 sqft before the battery died on me with it on detect mode.

The vacuum is very user-friendly and has excellent features. My wife loves the self emptying feature and it charges and it’s all ready to go for the next time. It easily adapts to different flooring surfaces and does a very good job of sucking up dirt.

Pretty lightweight and practical. I really like how easy it is to switch between the different attachments — it feels smooth and effortless. Being able to change them out quickly without any hassle is a big plus. The fact that it has its own self-emptying station is a huge win too. Visually, it’s nice enough to keep in my living room corner without it getting in the way or clashing with the vibe of the space.

We got our Shark PowerDetect Cordless Stick Vacuum cleaner just a few weeks ago, and we couldn’t be happier with it!
It has power, and it automatically adjusts for different surfaces. An additional feature that other vacuums don’t have is that as you are vacuuming, a purple light comes on to let you know that the floor surface is still dirty, and it changes to clear/white when it is clean.
And unlike another rechargeable vacuum we had recently, the Shark PowerDetect Cordless Stick Vacuum recharges hassle-free. It is so convenient to use!
I love all of its features, and I highly recommend it!

The calcium works well. I especially like how you don’t have to open to clean it out. Just set it on the charger and slide the lever. It sucks all the dirt out.

I buy a lot of vacuums! Mainly because they break down after a year or two, usually less than a year. We have eight pets in the house, so we have to vacuum daily. We have only had this one for a few weeks, but I think this is the best one yet! Time will tell if it holds up, but I think it will mostly be due to the auto-empty function. It works great and keeps the container clean and ready to go every time!
Battery life is great. I can vacuum out the entire home, about 2800sq ft) without issue.

This is my first cordless vacuum & I love it . Easy to manuver. Cleaning floors without the cord is great and faster. Love how this goes underneath bed, cofee table without bending over . I always buy Sharks .i love the way they use lights so you can see the floor better . I hsd dyson years ago , my friend has a Dyson cordless , this has more features and is better and for less money than Dyson . Buy one you wont be sorry .

I returned my new Dyson V15 and picked this one up instead—and I actually like it a lot more. With the Dyson, I constantly had to switch between the carpet and hardwood floor attachments, which got annoying fast. This vacuum has plenty of power and the auto-dump feature is a game changer. I even sold my Rainbow and Kirby vacuums. I was just over dealing with power cords. I did have to buy an extra battery to cover my entire house, but if you have a smaller home, one battery should be enough.

I was a loyal Dyson customer, but gave the Shark a try because it’s so much more affordable. Features I love my Dyson didn’t offer: the light to see all the dog hair and dust in the corners, the auto empty to keep filters and machine from smelling. The different strengths in suction take an adjustment. It’s a little bulkier to store. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.

This is by far my most favorite vacuume! I love the fact that it’s cordless which makes it so easy to go through the house quickly and easily. I also love the feature where it intelligently understands the floor type and will adjust the power suction accordingly. It also has a great feature for an automatic dirt removal from its container.

Works well. Big difference in suction, quality and ease of use than previously owned lesser ($200) brand.
I like the storage stand that automatically sucks out the unit's reservoir! no mess no hassle.
Running on high full time reduces battery life, so for mother in law cleaning, I need to do a recharge to finish...
Other then that it works really good!

I’m seriously impressed with this vacuum!
The suction is incredibly powerful for a cordless stick vacuum — it picks up dirt, crumbs, and pet hair effortlessly. The PowerDetect feature automatically adjusts the power based on the surface, which makes cleaning super efficient.
The best part? The auto-empty system. No more mess when emptying the dustbin — it’s quick, clean, and totally hands-free.
It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and perfect for daily use. Highly recommend!

I’ve been using the Shark PowerDetect cordless vacuum for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s a strong performer with some clever technology. It’s ideal for a mix of carpet and hard floors, and the PowerDetect feature is particularly useful—it automatically adjusts suction depending on the type of surface and amount of debris. That means I’m not constantly toggling between modes.
