We spent a lot of money on this microwave and cabinet design, and we're back to our $100 microwave on the cabinet that has worked for years while we wait for technicians and parts. I know it looks great, but, If you buy one, have a backup! what a disappointment.

Keypad failed after 20 months of normal use

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After 1.8 months the key pad stopped working under less than normal use, microwave oatmeal in the morning and veggies at night. Occasionally warm up lunch when home. No kids in the house, just my wife and me. Warranty is one year. Cost to fix, $300 if I take it out of the wall and deliver to store, $450+ if they come to the house. Heating is power is weak as well. Presetting's for defrost are not good and design of presetting's needs improvement. Unfortunately, Sharp has a patent on this type of unit and it will be good when it runs out so they have some competition. For now, they can get away with poor quality since is it is the only game in town. Consider carefully the design vs the poor quality.

Great space saver

It is very new but it has great features and is nicely tucked away. We like being able to see in to the drawer and see how the food is doing and it easier to get items in and out than one at eye level. A great addition to our new kitchen island.

Can't wait to use it. I believe it will be my 8 year old daughter's favorite appliance she can use in the kitchen. Paid full price cause it was a must have appliance for my remodeling.

It works great and allowed us to install a high powered range hood over the stove in place of the old over-the-range microwave.
