Good replacement for our old Sharp microwave

Both work fine, but noisier than our old one. Also when it is done it beeps until the door is opened. Overall it is slightly less powerful than our previous oven, so cooking time has to be increased. It is easy to clean, and overall we would purchase it again.

It does a fabulous job of warming our leftovers without having to tell it what you are reheating. I wanted to find a microwave with the "roll-muffin" setting which I had on the old one but couldn't find it with any brand. However we are finding that the "soften butter" setting does a pretty good job. Even the "soften ice cream" setting worked great to make it easier to dish up the ice cream! We are very pleased with it - only complaints are the panel is a little hard to read and the stainless finish does show fingerprints - both of these were mentioned in the reviews that we read so we were aware of them.

We were looking for an option of turning off the turntable when putting in glassware that has a long handle and we didn't want the turn table to spin. The specs say it has the option to turn off....it doesn't. That needs to be corrected in the specs page.
