It's easy to operate but also has advanced features if you need them. The turntable is large so you can fit larger plates and food trays. It's not cheap but will likely last.

We also discovered that there are frequent power outages in our area so are pleased to discover that this microwave stands up well despite them. All in all we are very satisfied with our purchase.

Had owned Sharp before with stellar life and performance. This model cooked very good with a large capacity. Would like the ability to set a timer while cooking a meal. Lasted 8 months and a the bulb burned out. Googled it and no luck. BB could not fix so we used the extended warranty and cashed out. We moved on. It still cooked well but in the dark. Perhaps an led light might be a decent upgrade.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After the Kenmore microwave/convection oven malfunctioned after setting the temperature for convection and started in the microwave mode, we decided that were done with Kenmore. We used a Sharp microwave for over 20 years and no malfunctions with it. So we went with the Sharp because we know they last a long time. Very easy to use the setting for cooking.
