SO excited to finally be able to purchase this for my home! I w wanted it for a long time. It looks great and works excellent for what I need. Reheating and softening is mainly what I use it for. Perfect under counter height

It works great. The price of drawer microwaves is ridiculous. I replaced a seven year old unit, same make and model, that died and could not be repaired because the part is not available with no expected time to be in stock. I suspect that is a ploy by Sharp to sell more units.

This drawer microwave is something we didn't realize we needed until it was installed. The location, which is right under our island countertop, is perfect for accessing without a lot of bending and stretching. The pull-out control panel is so easy to read and tucks away when not in use. We use the microwave daily, several times per day, and it heats well, is not loud and is easy for everyone to operate, including our younger son.

Let’s be real, I could have bought a countertop microwave for 1/3 of the price but this looks darn good in my newly renovated kitchen island. Heats well, easy to clean and guests are in awe when they see the drawer open and close. This is not a budget appliance but it’s definitely a good one.

Never had a drawer microwave, but have used my friend’s many times, so when I remodeled my kitchen, I decided to get one. Am so happy that I did. Large enough for everything I want to microwave and perfect for my island. The only thing missing is that there is no rotating dish.

Overall the microwave is what we were looking for. However there is an issue with the door not closing properly which was evident when it was installed. The installer really didn’t address the issue. Luckily Sharp is sending someone to take care of it since it falls under the warranty.

The microwave drawer fits perfectly in our new cabinets and looks great. So far it has worked well and is a great addition.

Let’s see if I can give a good review. Well the microwave works as designed, the functions are easy enough to figure out with little issues. It is a space saver so we designed it to fit into our island, where it fits perfectly and is not taking up valuable counter space. My issue is not anything to do with the microwave, but shipping. I purchased this guy three times once from Amazon, once from Home Depot and both times upon arrival I opened the box and there was shipping damage looks like both took a hard fall on the corner. I had to send both back. My third purchase was from Best Buy opened the box no damage got it home installed it easy enough. I have very much enjoyed this item, heats nicely. It opens from the top and load it from the top (like a drawer pull). The only two issues (really non issues) with this microwave is it is pretty expensive but it is next level and that alone comes with cost. Second, most microwaves come with a turntable, this one does not. It seems to do well at getting things evenly warm but as I prefer I would rather it have one. It also has no type of removable tray/plate, you just place your plate onto the bottom of the microwave. I feel over time this may cause a dark spot on the bottom. The microwave is new so at this time I can only give a good review for the cost it SHOULD last a long time...hoping anyway. Well that’s it folks my honest review, sorry a little long but It’s my review and it is what it is.

We really like this drawer microwave. We have had this one in the past and we love it (it is still working very well). We bought another for another unit. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice appliance! So easy and convenient

Pros - the drawer opens smoothly, and you can tap it shut if your hands are full, easy to clean and simple menu. Cons - to change the percentage of heat, you have to hit the power level button multiple times instead of typing in a number. This feature is used frequently for defrosting.

Have been using for 2 weeks. I'm coming from using a swinging door microwave so this has been a transition. It heats well, has a function called "reheat" that senses how warm something is and cooks it for as long as it needs. I like that you can manually push the drawer closed in addition to using the close button. On my old microwave when I pushed the 1 it would automatically cook for 1 minute, this one you have to push 1,0,0, start which I don't love so I just repeatedly push the 30 sec button and that works. quality microwave, just a different thing to get used to. Make sure it fits the cabinet you're putting it in, I'm having to add trim so I can fasten it securely to the cabinet.

I like the feature of "keep warm" in addition to the features for traditional microwave. The design is optimal.
