Delivery was quick. Product was easy to set up and install. Placed in a 30 inch microwave lower cabinet with cabinet drawer below. Had to notch out opening 1/2 inch on both sides but unit covered rough cut edges so they are not visable. Been using it for one month no problems. Like the reheat sensing option. Thaw option stops, beeps, and reminds you to rotate to evenly thaw nicely so you thaw, not cook your frozen meat.
A week or so into using the microwave and it is performing well. The unit is heavy duty and does an excellent job. The display is easy to read and use. I worry a bit about the longevity of the powered drawer, since it isn't as quiet as I would have hoped, but it is functioning fine with no issues. If you are looking for a drawer microwave, this is a great choice.
While we have only had this unit installed in our new kitchen for less than 30-days, we have used several of the functions and it has preformed flawlessly.
The single biggest learning curve is the sensor cook settings. You have to either have them memorized of have the manual out when using them.
Otherwise, it is powerful and heats a cup of water for hot tea faster than any other microwave we've owned.
We did get the Best Buy extended warranty on it due to the reviews about the drawer motor or mechanism fails and the drawer will not open.
So far, very happy!
Just got it installed - piece of cake once you work through all the detail dimensioned drawings Sharp provides. (TMI) It actually only takes four screws to install, but making certain the cavity it is installed in is properly sized is critical. The oven seems to function well so far. Wish these were priced more in-line with "regular" microwave ovens though.
A:AnswerGo online and check their website for the product specs which say exactly what dimensions are needed to install. However I would not recommend this microwave to anyone. Doesn't work properly and died within 13 months of usage.
A:AnswerHello April, this unit does not use a turntable, reason being, it uses a stirrer technology to evenly dispense the heat throughout the drawer, there is no need to open the drawer to turn the food during the cooking cycle.
