Really low noise level, and automatically adjusts to air quality. I like that you can turn the ionizer on and off. Easy to clean and don't have to buy as many filters as with other air purifiers

I feel that I can breath better and air feels clean. It is not noisy and the operation is very easy. Since this worked well, my husband bought the same unit for my son's room.

You feel like your breathing in nice and clean air and feel even great coming into your home for the great clean air. Also helps with odors and pet smells. Especially for apartment smells that stay behind. Excellent buy and recommend in buying 2 to fit the home perfectly.

I previously owned FPF40 which is okay, but replacement filter cost almost same as the purifier. So, I decided to get the FPF60 on sales which had lower priced replacement filter than FPF40. It is more quieter than FPF40 so I can keep it on when I am sleeping.

I love that I don't have to buy filters for this. You can clean it very easily with a vacuum and the design is nice. It's quiet to the point sometimes I don't even notice it's on. It's sensitive and picks up odors right when it happens. I'm happy with the purchase.

I am highly allergic to dust and pollen. I have struggled with breathing especially at night and thought maybe it was sleep apnea. I decided to try this out before going to the doctor and I am glad I did. It has been wonderful! I can actually sleep now without constantly waking up due to congestion. My days are more productive. When I am starting to have an allergy attack I go into my room and blast this thing and I am often able to start breathing easily again, although I still have to use a warm cloth to get the swelling in my eyes to subside. This air purifier has been life changing for me! (Because I can actually have a life now that I'm not always exhausted.)

It's a pretty good purifier if you use it in a smaller room. After first use I could feel the difference in the air. If the AUTO mode is on, it can sometimes be very loud.

This sharp air purifier really helps clean air and odor. It is really good to have this kind air purifier from sharp. Nice and quiet. So far so good.

This thing is great.. very responsive when there is dust or an odor the unit immediately starts running the fan faster.. easy to clean and very quiet

I can't say more good words about this purifier. I own a Blueair 503 for couple years. While it does its work of cleaning the air, the filters need to be replaced very 6 months, which cost about $160 for each replacement. It's a high running cost obviously. I wished I found this machine earlier before I purchased the Blueair 503. According to the description, the filters can last up to 5 years, that's amazing, and the cost of replacing them is only about $100. By comparing the running cost of Blueair and the this machine, it's a huge difference. Well, I do notice that the Sharp can only filter 0.3 micron while the Blueair can do 0.1 micron. But the sharp has ion cleaning and auto fan speed adjustment and dust and odor sensor while the 503 only has three big filters and four fan speeds for manual selection. I can buy three of Sharp with the price of one Blueair 503. And if I put 5 years running cost into consideration, I can see a huge difference. The Sharp might not output air as clean as the Blueair, but as long as it's compatible with HEPA, I think most of the harmful air has been filtered. I was a little picky on this, but when I think if my kids and I are out of our house, we'll be breathing whatever in the air, so whenever there's a purifier in the house, it's already better than natural air surrounding the house, no mention that we now have three Sharps and one Blueair inside the house.

GREAT PRODUCT. SOME HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT LOW SPEED NOISE WHICH THEY DO HAVE IF U KEEP ON LOW SPEED IF U USE THE AUTO SETTING U WONT HAVE THIS PROBLEM. BUT I DONT CARE ABOUT A LITTLE NOISE FROM A PRODUCT THAT ACTUALLY DOES WORK I SLEEP MUCH BETTER A NIGHT. I SUFFER FROM SINUS AND ALERGY PROBLEMS MOST OF THE YEAR. I BOUGHT TWO MORE THE SMALLER ROOM SIZE ONES FOR CHRISTMAS PRESENTS FOR MY PARENTS. GREAT BUY WHEN U CAN GET THEM ON THE DEAL OF THE DAY.

Sharp Air Purifier works well and fairly quiet. Only drawback is the cost of replacement filters.
