We purchased this TV to replace our 56" Samsung DLP. Moving up to 70", getting a better picture when connected to computer, and ability to use a full motion mount were the main reasons for replacing the Samsung. 3D capability was a bonus as is the compatibility with 4K signal (albiet downconverted). Picture is very good although you will find out of the box that that picture has a noticable Soap Opera Effect (some people like this). There are many view modes available and I have found that Movie mode pretty much resolved that issue. When connected to a computer I found that the picture was underscanned which lopped off the edges of the computer desktop enough that icons, task bar, etc. were not on screen but again that was easily fixed by adjusting a setting to 'Dot for Dot' that disabled scaling. Testing with XBox revealed a very very slight latency, far better than most large format TVs due to the substantial signal processing involved. In 'Game Mode' this TV is a good performer compared to other TVs in this price range. The 3D is very good, at least as good as any passive 3D like you see in a movie theater. My only compaints would be that there are NO 3D glasses included with the TV. Since this TV uses a Blue Tooth Active type glasses expect to spend about $40 for each one. While active 3D may be technically better at not 'ghosting'than passive, the difference has more to do with the content than the technology. That being said I would have preferred passive 3D due to the lower cost of obtaining glasses for $10 rather than $40. Also the TV remote was not able to operate my set top box with any code attempted and would not easily switch between Volume Control of TV vs Surround. I ended up adding a Harmony remote to resolve this and am also very happy with that purchase since now I really can operate the entire system with Blu Ray, Surround, etc. with ONE REMOTE. Lastly while 4 HDMI inputs is common I hope that manufacturers start adding more HDMI Connections. My connections are Set Top Box, Blue Ray, XBox, and Computer. I could have used more connections for when I want to plug in a laptop and one for Surround where I instead used optical. I did not add a soundbar and that would have been yet another HDMI connection. More HDMI Please! Pros: excellent value Cons: No 3D glasses included and cost of Active 3D glasses (4 will set you back around another $160.00)

Great picture, simple interface, netfix and other online built right in. Only problem Ive had is it wouldnt find my wireless network, so the TV has to be hardwired. Tried everything. New router, and it works just fine with all my other devices, including bluray, phones, printer, ipads, laptops...so is clearly a TV issue. Wire was available, plus the data transfer rate is faster via wire, so all good I guess.

I go this TV cause I was looking for 4K TV, but this TV just as great of pictures as 4K for much better price. Also this TV could receive 4K content for the future use. Over all I have this TV for about 2 months now and love everything about it. Easy set up and great picture.

First off, I have to give it up to Best Buy for not only matching the Amazon price, but two days later when the price dropped again for a day, they reduced my price once more. I used the cost savings to get the Geek Squad to deliver the TV and integrate it into my home theater system. After watching them for 3.5 hours, I'm very glad that I made the decision to have them put it all together. I would have been extremely frustrated by what they considered an easy set up. They eliminated about one-half the cords/wires and really simplified the hook-up. I used to be able to do this type of thing myself, but then again I also used to be able to work on my 1968 VW Beetle. There are only two things to be concerned about. The sound quality of the TV is lacking but most people (like me) probably already have a good theater system. The other problem is that the picture appears to be too bright (or the contrast is too low), but I'm going to let the set burn in for 30 days and then call up the menu if I decide to tweak it myself. The picture is a good improvement over my older Samsung LED TV.

I love this tv it's so clear and makes everything look so good. I would not recommend for gaming even of the high refresh rate I play gtv5 on ps3 and I don't like playing my ps3 on it

Awesome picture. Love the wireless feature. Packaged very well, no damage of any kind. I bought a sound bar as the audio, like with most of these TV's is not very good. Not having a manual is a negative...a bit tough to figure out wifi set up. Overall, very happy with this TV

I am not the technical person when it comes to electronics. This TV was easy to set up and enjoy. The 3D experience has been a lot of fun and the picture quality is great. It was a really great purchase.

Now you've probably read through all the reviews on this TV and still aren’t sure what to do. There are some good reviews, and also some bad ones. First off, if you're buying a TV now-a-days you have to understand that it’s not going to be completely perfect/calibrated out of the box. If you don’t have the time, or aren’t savvy enough to go onto internet forums and figure out how to calibrate the saturation, brightness, sharpness, etc, etc, you are going to have a bad time...regardless if you're buying this TV or some other one. Now, time for my review: Its a great TV, as mentioned above I went and researched on some AVS forums and got calibration settings on making the best picture quality I could...it’s really not all that hard. I like the up-convert feature that will allow you to watch 4K content. I paired my computer with the TV and was able to watch some UHD content, and it was absolutely beautiful. I wasn’t too excited at first about the SmartTV feature but I've found it does have some value with Netflix, YouTube, etc. If you're planning on browsing the internet on this or searching on YouTube, Google, I would suggest buying a wireless keyboard to make it more efficient. Speakers aren’t really that great, but if you don’t have surround sound then I would suggest purchasing a cheaper TV and using your left over budget to buy a surround sound package. This TV is about the picture, not the audio. I watch a lot of movies and sports so the 240Hz refresh rate is absolutely perfect. I haven’t noticed the “trails” when watching basketball or soccer. Blu-ray’s look great and if you’ve calibrated your TV correctly and also don’t have it on the “dynamic” setting you will not get the soap opera effect. That being said, I am satisfied with my purchase. I did a lot of research as I’m sure you are doing right now and for the money, this 70” is exactly what I wanted. Good Luck

My wife bought me this Sharp - AQUOS Q+ Series - 70" Class LED HDTV for my birthday. Bought it to replace my old 65" rear projection TV. This is a serious upgrade from a 65" TV! We love it! Picture is great in bought 2D and 3D.

We finally bit the bullet to get a large-screen TV and are quite pleased so far with this 70" Sharp model. Internet access is easy, though we frankly haven't used those features much yet. Best Buy home installation service was efficient, with pleasant staff and no problems.
