I did a lot of research before making this purchase, particularly because the Oster unit I got elsewhere kept tripping our breaker. The only complaint I saw about this unit was it being noisy. I don't see how it is any louder than any other microwave. It doesn't trip the breaker, and it performs better than the 1100 watt Oster oven we tried before. It is about 50% faster than the 800 watt we had for 15 years, pluse I have come to trust the Sharp brand. There is zero frustration factor. The only drawback is no light when not cooking, but I haven't had a problem with seeing by ambient light when removing my food. I would recommend this unit.

I really love this microwave, not only is it sleek and great looking in my kitchen but the customer service for this company is wonderful. The microwave was actually missing the turning plate Which is why I only gave it four stars instead of five,and I called the company and told them about the problem and within three days I had a plate delivered to my front door without any questions asked. Excellent customer service and really easy to work with.

This microwave fits perfectly in my new smaller kitchen space, I happily use it every day, and it works like a charm!

I purchased this microwave for my daughter to use in her Dorm Room. She Loves the size and the features of the microwave.

The microwave is much quieter than our old one and seems to heat the food evenly. We use it a lot, so I am concerned about how long it will last, but we got Best Buy's 4 year replacement warranty. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I think the interior light should come on when the door is opened. That is, in my opinion, a design flaw. I was aware of the shortcoming when I made the purchase, so it isn't a big deal for us.

This microwave is the perfect size. It still fits our larger plates. It doesutakenup too much space and is very easy to use.

Great size and great price. Sharp Microwaves have been a staple in my house for more than 40 years. I've only had two. That's the quality of Sharp. My last one was purchased in 1993 and only died after power surges due to the ice storm. This is my second and so far it works as wonderfully as the first. I like the stainless steel option as well. It matched my kitchen much better than the white one I had.

More like 3 1/2 stars. Replaced an older Panasonic that broke down. Looks and feel similar. Would be better if the footings were adjustable because it didn’t sit properly but stuck a small rubber pad under one foot and does not rock anymore. Works fine and is average.
