I purchased a sharp microwave in 1986 from Montgomaery Wards open box.. Never had a problem till this day.. only problem a lil too bulky for my now smaller apt.. I gave away my ole microwave for a smaller version.I am quite happy with the size and sleek look.. I pray I never have to replace just like the ole one..

Good microwave except one thing— it is VERY! Loud for the first few seconds of using it, any time that you use it lol. For example put something in for 30seconds and the first 3-5 seconds it is unreasonably loud lol. But it does the job! Can’t hate it for the price.

Right size. Good fit for small kitchen. Easy to clean.

My second purchase of this same microwave , one for cabin and one for my house. I love the small size for the built in cabinet space yet I can still use it for large plates and dishes. I've been a Sharp customer since microwaves came out back in the day. Love the turntable feature.

I love this microwave. It looks great on my kitchen counter. Nice variety of temperatures. Cooks and warms things great. I'm glad I finally purchased a new one! Only downside is when you open the door there is no light, light only comes on when cooking.

Recently purchased this microwave and find it to be an excellent mid-sized unit. Big enough for a dinner plate or most regular frozen food packaging. Has the one touch cook buttons and a decent amount of pre-cook buttons. Fits on a counter top without taking too much space. Overall great item for a good price.

Excellent sized microwave. I think the power rating is misleading as it takes a long time to heat up food.

Heats food evenly. I like it that the beeping sound at the end is not too irritating, won't wake up anybody taking a nap nearby. There's a small stainless steel panel that's kinda hanging loose, not sure why. That's why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

We needed a countertop microwave for the short-term while our kitchen was being remodeled. Long-term, I hope to use it in an old house I am renovating. So far, the Sharp Carousel 1.1 Cu. Ft. Mid-Size Stainless Steel Microwave has been adequate enough for what we needed it for - instant meals, etc. I chose the Sharp stainless steel model because I liked its appearance over both Sharp's white model and over a major competitor's stainless steel model even though this was a bit more expensive. I have not used any of the instant buttons (e.g., popcorn) so I cannot vouch for those just yet. All the other buttons seem to work well. The 1000 watt microwave seems plenty powerful, and our food cooks fast and evenly. Many are annoyed that there is no light when the door is open, but my focus is what this microwave does feature, not what it doesn't. One minor nuisance is the button to open the door requires a good bit of force for the door to open, making it difficult to do one-handed. I often push the microwave backward if I don't have a grip on the side first. If my hands are full of items to cook, I cannot easily open the door and must set down my food first, then open, then put the food in, so on and so forth. My biggest concern is the instructions recommend keeping at least four inches of space around the top, sides and rear of the microwave for venting. Even with this, the top of the microwave gets surprisingly hot after heating just a few items, especially frozen vegetables (steam-in bags) or something similar. With Best Buy's 14-day return policy, I am looking for any warning signs that there might be a greater problem, but so far I guess the hot-top must just be part of normal operation. One complaint for Best Buy: after waiting for twenty minutes for a clerk to become available, the employee grabbed the nearest box he could find. It was ripped and smashed and led me to question whether I should be paying the open-box rate (the clerk laughed but didn't budge. He chalked it up as wear and tear from shipping, loading/unloading, etc.). Thankfully, once I got home, nothing inside the box was damaged or dented. Still, I wonder what Sharp would think of major retailers tossing about their merchandize like it's trash? I almost told Best Buy to forget it, and kind of wish I had.

Can’t beat the performance for the price. Simply to use, period.

This microwave is quiet, heats evenly and quickly for it's wattage, and looks great doing it. The only gripe I have is that only on the box does it correctly state that it is a "stainless-steel colored paint finish." It is sold online as stainless. If your configuration places this out in the open, this may cause more of a problem for you than for me.

Needed something small and reliable for my new apartment. Works great!

We bought this for a commercial kitchen. It's spacious and quick to cook. Only downside is that it slides on the counter very easily as there are no rubber feet on it.

i have this product for last 2 years and all of sudden it stopped working. Not sure what is the issue so i disposed and bought it again the same product as the features are good. I love this product and recommend to a friend. Not sure how long this product warranty is ..i hope this works long.

Picked this up on sale and while not the most powerful one out there it does a nice job. The buttons can be a little touchy and the light only comes on when cooking but overall I'm satisfied.

Replace our microwave that we had for 16yrs with this new microwave and it looked as close as possible to our old one, had to get used to the new functions but got used to it very quickly. It’s strong, efficient, looks appealing and very strong(heats up food very good)
