Microwave is Perfect size for our needsand easy to use.

Dear Sharp, you used to be so much better than this. But depending on how long this one lasts (or doesn't), my next microwave may no longer be a Sharp. And so far, I am not optimistic. I had to exchange 1st unit due to noise from the turntable mechanism. 2nd unit seemed to be fine initially, but now it seems to be developing a different turntable noise, only 12 days into use. But this noise is very faint so I am going to ignore it, accepting that Sharp's build quality and quality control is not what it used to be, and this unit may not last as long as my previous Sharp (one in the 90's lasted over 10 years, solidly built, and worked like a champ). This current unit also seems flimsy - the stainless metal side feels thin and is not secured at the bottom, so that it almost got pulled out/bent when the microwave had to be lifted during a difficult unpacking process (the solid unibody styrofoam made it REALLY hard to even get it out if the box).

My biggest concern was how big the microwave was and if it would fit on my kitchen counter. I also wanted a stainless steel, not white. This microwave is the perfect fit and it looks sleak on my kitchen counter! And it's easy to use! Definitely recommend this to everyone!

Took a little getting used to. The oven only lights when it’s cooking and is much smaller than first thought. Love the night light for the kitchen area. Cooks well, haven’t had time to do special recipes. It’s Growing on me right now.

The input panel has dark gray lettering and numbers against a shiny black background. NOT easy to see - I have to bend over and put my nose up to it to operate. Secondly, the clear “protective” covering does a poor job of protecting it. I damaged the surface trying to remove this film with a sharp knife trying to get a start in it which is impossible to see. Couldn't get a start on the film anywhere to get it off - wont even burn off to get a start. If I hadn't scratched the top I would return it. Needless to say the clear covering is staying in. Do I sound frustrated?! I had to tear the box completely up to get it out of the box since it was packed so tight!! I’M 68 and luged this thing around, wrestled and ripped the box to open it, torn my nails up trying to remove the thin film as instructed and cant even read the control panel without a flashlight! Other than that its just peachy.

This unit is big enough to handle your reheats. Perfect for steaming a few veggies too. I can’t imagine needing anything bigger/better. Economical and functional. Love that I can do a lot of different “press one button” things.

It's a microwave It does what it does compact very light. Only thing that seems strange is that when you open the door the light does not turn on, However once the microwave is cooking the light does turn on.

We had 5 years with our old microwave in which gave out so was in the market for a replacement. Decided to buy this model since it was around the budget set and was on sale. So far I have bit under 5 months of ownership and started to notice an issue. It does tend to heat up the food but the buttons are now some of the buttons are not functioning. I use to be able to able to use the time cook in order to manually input the desire cooking time. Now I am not able to use that feature or neither use the key pad from 1 to 4 function. Kind of disappointed on this issue.

During COVID 19 shelter in place. My microwave broke. Best Buy got me a new one in a few days. On Amazon the wait would have been several weeks. Thanks Best Buy. It fit perfectly and is working fine. Very Thankful to have it so promptly

I am very pleased with the way the microwave is working. The keypad is large and easy to use. The microwave is powerful and heats up food very quickly. The only drawback is that the inside does not light up when you open the door to retrieve the food once it is done.

Perfect for what I was looking for. I wanted a mid-sized microwave that was not too deep so I still had counter space in front of it. This one is shallower than many. I also like the door opening button. It works easily and well. Very happy with this purchase.

My new Sharp microwave is very nice. Lots of warming power that heats evenly and quickly. This is the second Sharp microwave I have had. The only thing I don't care for is the light doesn't turn on when the door opens.

I bought this microwave for my work office and it works great. We have had it for a month and it heats up food really quick. Co-workers like the stainless steel finish too. It is bright in the office so the lack of an inside light is not a problem. Nothing but good things to say about this microwave.

I'm happy with this microwave. It really heats well. The only thing is the strip just above the push button does not stay on, it keeps peeling off.

Works great, looks great, and easy to use. Just so you know, the light only goes on when the door is open; it is not on during cooking. I thought that would bother me when I first realized it after purchasing this microwave, but now that I've used it for about a year, it's really not an issue at all.

So far the microwave has been a great purchase. It heats the food evenly, and defrost frozen meat quickly. It is easy to clean on the inside and the outside. It is also user friendly and was not difficult to figure out out to use it.

Good microwave for the price, BUT the only problem I have is that it does NOT light up as you open the door. On the plus side, it prevents you to have those late night snacks, lol
