Unit came out of the box with a very noticeable ding on the front door. Given the issues associated with buying and returning things in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, I'm just going to live with it. It never should have been shipped this way.

Ok, but the faceplate is coming off already and it’s not even six months old

This microwave matches the rest of our appliances. We replaced a sharp carousel II microwave purchased 24 years ago. The layout is the same which makes it very easy to use. The express numbers are an improvement. We like the carousel because the food heats more even.

I just bought this microwave to replace the same model that I bought last year (the stainless steel version-the turntable motor developed issues). What I like about the new one: the white color makes it much easier to see the keypad. It was not encased in shrink wrap that needed removed before use like the stainless steel one. It heats hot. What I don't like: it has an odor like plastic or insulation in the inside. I'm hoping that diminishes over time. I also don't like how loud it is--it has a much louder hum and noise than the previous model I owned. Perhaps this is due to the slightly different shape of the two versions? My stainless one was more rounded--this one is quite square. The lack of light when you open the door is not an issue for me. I have only been using it a couple days--we'll see if it lasts over time. The other one worked great until the turntable gave out.

Most convenient, Sharp - Carousel 1.1 Cu Ft Mid-Size Microwave - Stainless Steel. Fits perfectly in my small kitchen, and I love it. It's easy to operate and heats up the food so evenly. I get a lot of compliments from relatives and friends on how nice it looks and easy to use. Do not experience any problems. Works great :) And The price is right !!

It finally happened our Sharp Carousel Microwave died... but I guess over 30 years of daily service is pretty darn good. Those trouble-free decades made me check out the new version and I'm very happy I did. Obviously I'm not sure if it will also last that long but it is still just as sturdy and now has even more features. It is quite easy to use. It required less than an hour to learn all the new buttons and features. All in all, most things have improved but for two changes I wish they change back: 1) As usual, the inside light comes on when you cook,,, but it goes out after it has finished... even when you open the door! 2) It has the same excellent Compu-Defrost mode but the original program would actually stop and wait for you to open up, break apart the frozen food, and then hit start again to continue. The new program just beeps. I guess it assumes you're standing right there and will react. It has everything else I need to help prep daily meals. And it still is amazingly inexpensive. IMHO you can't go wrong.

It works quickly. Controls are easy to use. The price was good. There are many options to cook. Easy to clean. Fits good on the counter. It is energy efficient. The stainless steel matches the kitchen.

This microwave was one of the cheapest that the store offered and I love it! It was super easy to set up and works great! It’s good sized and a very clean chrome look.

Does a good job heating food. The control layout is a bit different from my previous units, and I am still getting used to it (there is only a +30 sec control and not a -30 sec control for instance.) Previous microwaves I owned (Toshiba and Magic Chef) only lasted 3 months for one and about 3 years for the latter, hope this one is more reliable. A bit noisy during operation, but not too bad. Reasonably priced.

I think it’s perfect for what we needed. It’s a great appliance and fits perfectly on our counter. I do wish there was a light inside, and the buttons on the dial pad were easier to see when it’s darker. But overall I like it and those aren’t the end of the world. It heats food quickly and has a short timer when it’s done. I enjoy it!

I replaced my Sharp microwave that I had for 15 years and runs great with a new Sharp microwave because I changed my kitchen decor and wanted appliances that match. They make great products that last forever. It looks good, runs well and I am happy with my purchase. It came in a timely manner and I like ordering from Best Buy who I know will always cover their products. They are a very reliable outfit.

We needed to replace our 30 year old microwave that had stopped heating food and liquids. I did some quick research, and found that this model had very positive reviews. We are very satisfied with the ease of use, and how quickly items get heated up. The one thing that disappoints me is that the light does not come on when you open the door.

Replaced a previous Sharp-Carousel after 30 years even though it worked just fine but had become infested over time with living contaminants, it had to go, so this was a natural choice as the price was right & the brand holds up to lots of use, plus this looks so great and modern...cleans easy...

We needed to replace our Cuisinart microwave, which just stopped working. We are so pleased with this product. It's compact yet holds a full sized dinner plate with room to spare. It reheats well, and is quiet. And the touch pad is very easy to use. We wished we had picked with the Sharp brand originally. You can't beat the quality and value of this microwave.

It is a very stable microwave, which means it doesn't move when opening the door and I was looking for that. I purchased another microwave before this and when I brought it home, didn't like the fact that when closing the door, the microwave was moving and I returned it the same day and got this brand. I like the memory feature, the +30 seconds and the clock light. One thing is that the light inside the microwave doesn't turn on until heating the food, but this is energy saver and I like this feature too. Would I purchase this type of microwave? Yes, I recommend it. It's a medium microwave and it looks very nice as well. So far I'm happy with this purchase.

It's a really great design. I love the color and it's really easy to use. It's a little bigger than my old one so I like that. I could fit a little more. The buttons are really easy to use. And the delivery was super fast which was awesome cause I needed this fast.

This is a great microwave - powerful enough to heat quickly, and small enough to fit well in the limited space of my kitchen. There is one slightly annoying issue - there's no light inside the microwave when you open the door. There's a light on while it's heating, but not otherwise. Other than that, great product.
