It heats to a perfect temperature. I am at a high altitude so the plus feature helps. I use the 30 second feature to thaw my homemade gluten free bread which I have to freeze to keep fresh. I need to thaw before toasting due to high moisture. It also cooks pop corn perfectly automatically. The vegetable and potato settings work well also. Overall I'm pleased with purchase. Attractive appliance.
