Shaun White Snowboarding is one of the best games for Wii. The motion controls are great and even more fun (although more difficult) with the balance board. The graphics are good and the art direction is fantastic. The music is varied and from some big name bands. The voice work is good, especially Shaun White's comments if you fail a goal with him as your rider. The multiplayer is awesome! Coop, splitscreen, and hotseat modes keep the game varied. You can help friends learn the game in hotseat mode and then switch to splitscreen for a head to head match (up to 4 players) or coop for more unlockables. The hotseat mode is especially fun if you're using the balance board as only one can be connected per console. The only two downsides are a lack of being able to improve the stats of the riders. You do unlock new riders at each country with different abilities, and once you unlock Shaun White, his stats are sufficient for any run. The other feature that would have been cool would be an online multiplayer. Maybe the next version will have those, as I'm sure this will be a long-running franchise on Wii.

I have never gone snowboarding before so when I bought this game I was not sure what to expect. I played the game and found a fun and completely interactive game that utilized the balance board which, so far, I had only used for Wii Fit. When I started playing I found the controls somewhat difficult to understand and also found the balance board to be troublesome, but I was able to adapt quickly. Once I had a handle on the game I had tons of fun not only playing but also through the various other aspects of the game, which include: the soundtrack, I personally thought it was awesome; the emails, your character periodically receives funny “emails” about in game events; and the balance board, I was glad that it was finally used for something else besides Wii Fit. Overall the game is great and, although the controls are a little hard to master, it is well worth it when you can pull off awesome tricks on the balance board.

From the time we took it out Christmas morning, my whole family and neigbors played for hours. Its challenging (more so for me). My kids picked it up quicker than I did but I'm not a huge gamer. I still struggle with beating the levels, in fact I think I've only beat one to date. The music is good but wish I could figure out how to make it louder. I highly recommend this game. It's a great way to spend time with your family.

This is absolutely the best video game I have ever purchased!! I was so excited to play this game after hearing all the hype, and it TOTALLY lived up to it! I'm an avid boarder and this game is insane! There is such a large variety of tricks, so it never gets boring!! I can't say enough about this game!!! Trust me, you won't be disappointed when you purchase this game!!

I got this game for my kds and have been playing with them and enjoying the game myself. The music is great, and there is clever emails. The use of the board make you have to stand to play the game good way of motivating people to use there body. Have fun with the game and wii board.

I thought this game was Amazing. Being a snowboarder I found this game to be close to the real thing, in that you have to use your heels and toes to control your snowboarder using the Wii FitBoard. The graphics are a little week if your coming from the PS3 or XBOX360. All in all I thought Shawn White Snowboarding is the first game to fully utilize the Wii Fit board and make the gameplay of the Wii fully interactive

This is an awesome snowboarding game. The balance board adds to the experience; although the difficulty to pull off tricks is increased while using the balance board. The graphics are awesome. The developer made the graphic design for this game unique to the wii. (i.e. more cartoonish than realistic) You can also just use the wii remote to control. This control scheme is great for newcomers. My wife and I have played it for awhile in co-op mode and it is a blast. I would recommend this game to anyone looking to carve the digital mountain.

I love this game, it rocks! I am a mom new to gaming, got this for myself to start doing something besides sitting on the couch. I find myself playing this game first thing in the morning and the evening when kids are busy. I have so much fun that by the time I am done playing my leggs are sore. So far I haven't gotten bored with this at all. If you are like me, buy this game and have some fun!!

If you're married with kids, like me,...your life is over. Remeber the good old days riding the fresh pow!!, Well, this game sort of brings back memories. Lift tickets are $50 bucks, ouch. This game is cool, cuz the balance board sort of mimics a real board, I guess.

I just got this game and it's so much fun. At first i wasn't that interested because it was snowboarding, but soon as i started and got the hang of it, it was so cool! The only disappointing thing is that you can only use one wii fit board, my dad got my sister and i each one, but we can only use one.

Our kids range in age and ability and everyone loves this game. It's fast and fun. We had a great time watching as well as playing. This is one of the few that won't becoming boring. So glad we grabbed it.

A game without pretension that focuses on pure fun! Slick! I would recommended the Wii Version for everyone, period.

My 13 y.o. daughter and her best friend have spent hours playing this and they love it!!! Good use for the balance board.

I hafta say....I'ts one fun game...just wished in 2 player mode my roommate could have hooked his Wii balance board up, but NO games allow 2 Wii balance boards compatibility since the Wii itself can have only ONE wii balance board SYNCED to it at a time! one small glitch nintendo needs to fix...graphics could be realistic like other games...but now my feet have wiiitis from all the fun!

is a very fun game that is packed with interesting locations and many insane tricks.

My friends and I were disappointed that it took only 3 days (about 2 hrs each day) to get through the entire thing.

This game sucks, dont even waste your time and money getting it. If you have played it on xbox 360, its nothing like it. First of all you turn by turning your and and you have barely any control over what you do. you moove the controller to different sides to do grabs and it jumps on rails by itself. This game is so dumb!
