Another great season of Sherlock. The writing is fantastic with complex plot twists and turns, as always. The three episodes are mainly concerned with the aftermath of Sherlock's apparent death and Watson's impending wedding. By the way Sherlock's parents on the show are played by his actual parents.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are exceptional in the Masterpiece Mystery series Sherlock Holmes. The writers have done a superb job. You'll have to experience it from the beginning and get all three seasons. All are excellent! The three 90min shows per season are addictive - we need more.

Definitely the best season to date! This is where one must be paying attention to the subtext in order to get the full meaning of the story. The writing is smart and intelligent and there's so much more going on beyond what the characters say is going on. Highly recommended!

Following on from the excellent Series 1 and 2, Sherlock Series 3 returns Sherlock Holmes from the dead to a London which is sorely in need of his help. Neat stories involving terrorism, blackmail and Dr. Watson's wedding combined with fine acting give the viewer the greatest of viewing pleasure.

My daughter got me hooked on Sherlock. I have never been so captivated by a series as this one. The actors are fabulous, the writing is stimulating and fast paced so you can watch it several times and find new things you missed the first time. I can't wait for season 4 and the ones beyond.

The Sherlock series are all great movies and extremely enjoyable to watch. The scripts are well written and the actors all do a great job of bringing a 21st century Sherlock Holmes to life. Benedict is a pleasure to watch as is the relationships that are created among the various characters.

The release is well worth the 2 year wait to see this series continue. Story lines, acting and cinematography have all upped the game considerably in terms of quality and entertainment. Would have liked to see Sherlock Uncovered on here but the extras are decent for what you get. A must buy!

It's a pain having to wait so long between seasons of Sherlock, but considering that each episode is practically a movie in itself, it's well worth it. Once again - superb acting, superb writing. I loved it. I really did. I hate having to wait, but it FEELS SO AWESOME WHEN THE SHOW IS BACK!

The BBC continues to set the standard for television entertainment with this excellent series. Top notch acting and production, set this above most of what is seen on TV. The BBC series WALLANDER is a similar format, and equally excellent. A shame that the seasons are only 3 long episodes

Sherlock and Dr. Watson continue their unique relationship and crime solving abilities in Season 3. The writers take the characters to a new depth and each episode is as good as if not better than the last. Too bad this series doesn't run an entire season instead of such a short one.

I love that I got what I was looking for at a great price! I am a big fan of the show and especially of actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. Best Buy has what I want, I can find it quickly and check out is super easy and quick! I couldnt be happier with my purchase!

I love the way they have modernized the story and incorporated technology into it. Benedict is sheer brilliance in the Holmes role, very believable performance. The actor that plays Watson is also very good, can't remember his name but the two of them play the characters to a tee.

I only got onto this by buying a cheap copy of season 1 since I heard so much about it and am hooked. Wasn't sure I would like a Sherlock Holmes set in modern times but no problem. This has drama and humor and the actors portraying Holmes and Watson are perfect.

Loved Sherlock Season 3. Only three episodes but great to see Benedict and Martin's exchanges. They are terrific actors and the twist at the end of the season is one that I didn't see coming. I haven't purchased the DVDs so I don't know if the quality is better on Blu-ray or not.

This is the latest season for this wonderful series. Anybody with any interest in Sherlock Holmes should get this, but be sure to see the first 2 seasons first. What a surprise ending in the last episode of the third season but you need to see at least the second season first.

Season 3 continues the excellent tradition of translating Conan Doyle's characters to modern day London. Season 3 explains Sherlock's resurrection. has Sherlock failing a drug test, and demonstrates a high level sociopath presenting a bridal toast. This is to much fun.

Since Sherlock premiered, the show has set a new bar for television. The level of story-writing and consistency to the original character remains astonishing, especially for a period-revision series set in modern London. Well recommended for anyone and worthy of the hype

I got hooked on this show in the first season and have eagerly awaited the third season. I bought it as soon as it was released! The casting, the acting, the script (based on the books!), the production values... This is a superb production and worth watching over and over!

I have been a cinematic Sherlock Holmes fan since the days of Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. Now I am hooked on Cumberbatch and Freeman in these classic roles which the BBC has transitioned into the modern era. I only wish they had made more episodes.

The latest season of Sherlock explains Season 2s cliffhanger and delves deeper into the psyche of television's best consulting detective. A must have since rumors are no new episodes until 2016. The extras are com the BBC airing of the series not the recent PBS showing.
