These allow you to clearly hear what’s going on around you as if you were on a speaker phone. Others have said they hear me clearly on the other end. My use is primarily with my Windows pc for webconference calls although I use it occasionally on my iPhone for the same purpose. Some considerations: - Connects to one device at a time, but successfully works on iOS and Windows - If you have long hair or a hat, using these will require some adjustment or might not be able to use - The cheekbone are that the device rests on can still feel like they’re on you if worn for hours - It comes with 1 charger/cord which is unique to Aftershokz. As another reviewer noted, you probably want to buy a second one once you confirm these are a keeper - The boom mic is on the left side and not moveable to the other side

This headset works very well for communications, the boom mike is a game changer. I have both AfterShokz versions and the quality of sound is the same. When speaking, however the OpenComm stands out. My only complaint is it is tough to connect to multiple devices. I'm still working on that.

This was a gift for my truck driver husband. Right away he loved the comfort of these things. He's had a few parrot headsets in the past, and the sound quality was very good, but he found them uncomfortable for lengthy or frequent calls. He's used these while driving for a week, and is still very happy with the comfort. Sound quality is good, not far behind the parrot headsets, with just occasional and minor background noise when I talk to him. He says calls are crystal clear on his end. He thought there was a problem once, but realized it simply needed to be charged. After shopping around, I got lucky and found a good Thanksging day deal at Best Buy with $50 off. He recommends for quality and comfort.

Works better than my blu parrot headset everyone says they can hear me better without any feedback at all and no static. I just wish it had longer charging cable and a little more volume and longer mic.

Sounds great, battery life is awesome. Safety glasses will interfere with placement over ears. Will become hard to find best position to use effectively.

Works best with Teams if you have the dongle. I have some connections issues. I thought these could be connected to 2 devices at the same time. Could be user error. The sound quality and microphone is great.

Great product! I can use it to speak on my cell phone and be heard and hear every word. Then I can go back to listening to my podcast while I get dressed or clean the house. I can’t live without this product.

This is the best headset in the office. Since it is a bone conduction type, you don't need to cover your ear. So, it's easy to wear for a long time, and it has the advantage of being able to hear all the outside sounds.

I purchased these mainly for cell phone calls now that I am working from home more. These are so comfortable and very clear for phone calls (both on my end and the receiver's end). Since I mainly listen to audiobooks/podcasts, these are my preferred headset. If I want to listen to high quality music then I'll use in-ear earbuds or high-def headphones designed for music, but for my everyday general usage I still prefer these because I can also hear what my 3.5yo is doing to keep her safe. I am so glad I bought these! Oh...almost forgot, I also find it louder at times (depending on what I'm listening to) compared to my Galaxy buds live...though it could be because the Buds Live are a little finicky in finding the right position in my ear.

I had the Aftershokz Aeropex first, and was extremely happy with it, except my team members said my voice was distant. The OpenComm has solved that problem! At first I was skeptical of bone conducting headphones. But after just one day of use I was sold. Yes, you do miss out on the fidelity with other types of headsets/earphone/headphones/earbuds, but the benefits outweigh this for me. Being able to hear my wife and the surroundings clearly while I game is nice. They are also so lightweight I sometimes make it to my car before I realize I have not removed them. I was concerned there would be too much latency with using them for my PC, but that does not seem to have been a problem (I do have modern hardware).

I'm on the phone all day, and these worked great. The only problem is that after a while they hurt my head from being so tight. I gifted them to my father who uses them all the time and loves them.

Once you get use to it its ok. The volume itself isn't high but the way it transmits makes up the difference. Still can't wear it for a long time before my ears start hurting

Battery life is too short only getting about 6-7hrs sound quality is good volume a bit lower than i would like, the mic is very good and clear.

Fantastic design! I have had a few Aftershokz. The ones with the Aeropex design (like this) are the most comfortable. I like that this one has the microphone extension. People can hear me clearly. I have the regular Aeropex as well which I love (very comfortable... I forget I have it on). I know the OPENMOVE is one of their newest and go ahead and try it if you can get free returns. But I returned the OPENMOVE and splurged to get this one instead. The OPENMOVE is no competition if you are looking for comfort. 10 stars for this one and the aeropex and the aeropex mini. I'm just bummed that these 3 don't come in tons of bright colors (boring gray and black for this one).

I'm not a big fan on using wireless headsets for work since I'm a virtual instructor but this thing is great. It sounds wonderful and it's clear for my learners to hear me. This was a great deal.

Love these headsets for work and being able to listen to everything around me still as well makes the day go by safely and not only that but anytime I get a call I can answer.

These are really good, most of the time you can hear with no problem but if there's too much noise on the other end of the call you can't really hear the person talking.

I was a little unsure as to what this headset would feel and sound like when I first purchased it. I spend a great deal of time on conference calls and it can be very uncomfortable to constantly have buds in my ears; speakerphone is almost never an option due to the sensitive nature of information and data in my line of work. However. this headset ROCKS. Not only is it comfortable and much lighter weight than I would have expected, the sound quality is truly amazing. I did a couple of test calls with a colleague and she said I actually sounded *better* on the AfterShokz headset than on another, very popular, headset. Yes, it's expensive - but you really get what you're paying for.

Love these. the only I wish is that the boom mic could be switched from ear to ear, beyond that the sound on calls is great and I never have an issue with someone being able to hear me nor I them
