However, I wish volume could go higher (or maybe I'm loosing my hearing, to be fair). Also, worth noting the padded arch needs to be revised by Shure b/c it gets uncomfortable after 2-3 hours of continuous wear. Hence the 4 vs 5 stars.

I use them to go to the gym and everyday listening. Im also a musician and practice drums with them. The sound quality is excalty what i was looking for. Dont really use the ANC and i found the volume to be much better without them anyways. Definitely recommend.

Adequate noise cancelling, though I haven't had to try it out in high noise environments. If you're easily distracted by small sounds, it's good for that at least. Though, when you walk around with it on, the plastic can be a bit noisy, so that has to not bother you too much.

"Better than aonic 50"

At this price point there amazing. Same mids and highs as on the aonic 50's with deeper and tighter low and mid bass that doesn't bleed into the mids. Great detail and instrument seperation. Fairly wide soundstage. Comfortable with good ANC, not class leading. Sony and bose still own that title.
