The film is a worthy sequel. If you enjoyed the first then I would definitely check out this one. Regarding the package, I appreciate having a DVD, bluray, and digital copy.

The best sequels are those that are a new movie, not just a rehash of the earlier one. This movie expands the world of Sicario and shows us other aspects and is as visually impressive as the first. Again just three short vignettes are available as special features; interesting, but they should have added more content.

The first Sicario was a sleeper hit for me. I walked into the theater with minimal knowledge of the film, not having even seen a trailer. My wife and I had decided to go see a movie, but had nothing we were really looking forward to at the time. We looked at what was playing, read a spoiler free bare-bones synopsis of Sicario, and opted to go see it on a whim. The cast was ridiculous so we figured it would be good. I ended up being beyond blown away by it. It is easily one of my favorite films now. With that said, Day of the Saldado is not quite as good as the first Sicario. Denis Villeneuve not returning as the director feels like it is 90% of the reason for this. The pacing is not quite as well handled. Instead of artfully and steadily building into a fantastically violent crescendo, it rises and falls at times. Consequently, the experience is a little less "edge of your seat" than the first. Also, without something to fill the void of the unusual perspective switch from the first, Day of the Saldado feels a little less unique and more like a straight forward dramatic action film. The final conflict/resolution, while somewhat subversive, is not ultimately as satisfying as it was in the first either. With all of that said, it is still and excellent film. While Villeneuve did not return to direct, the original writer of the first film did. Consequently, the story and premises themselves are actually very clever and original. As to be expected, Brolin and Del Toro both turn in tight performances. As does basically the entire cast. Ultimately, while it is not quite as well done as the first, it is still an excellent film. Did not think after the first one their would be a sequle but when I heard it coming out I was psyched. Did see in theaters but recently purchased it after it was released and i’ll say if you were a fan of the first this second one will not disappoint. I’m hoping there’s a 3rd that comes out after the way it ended.

In this adventure/drama, FBI agent Matt Graver (Josh Brolin) enlists a mysterious operative to help investigate a Mexican drug cartel that has been smuggling terrorists into the U.S. Things escalate when the daughter of a top kingpin is abducted, forcing Graver and his partner to re-evaluate their mission.

The first Sicario movie was great, that is why I was so shocked when the second one was even better.. Josh Brolin and Benecio Del Toro are two of the baest actors out there today.. Incredible cinematography and soundtrack/score just like the first one. Very highly recommended!!

Have you seen the first Sicario movie? If not, you're missing out on a really great movie! This sequel is also a really great movie, with no scene directed to disappoint. Go, watch the first movie, then watch this one. I think you'll agree with me on this one!

This film is a solid follow up to the first film. The slow pace of these films builds up the drama and tension within the story. Great acting by the cast. Benicio de Toro is haunting! Well shot and the score is great. Love this series. Fingers crossed for a third.

This is one of the better looking and sounding 4K/UHD releases of 2018. It can't hold a candle to the original film, but it still has some very intense moments before it all kind of falls apart at the end. Still, if you have a quality home theater setup this one is not to be missed.

Sicario Day of The Soldado is great movie but don't make the mistake I did. Watch the first movie before watching this one before watching this one to get a better understanding of the movie. Overall acting and plot are great. Action is amazing. Must see movie.

Excellent movie with a really good cast. Real gritty and very much real. Not for kids. There is a part 2. Watch both

For those who enjoyed the first Sicario because of Emily Blunt, you'll be a little disappointed. She's not in this one but it's still quite good. It deals with the immigration issue in our country and other things so there's lots there to sink your teeth into...

This movie was a weak sequel in my opinion not enough happened to really call it one. Definitely full of action but not much plot hopefully the next Sicario will have a good story like the first. Video and Audio are top notch especially if you have Atmos setup

Action scenes with the actors are top notch. I would recommend this movie to anyone willing

Not sure why I've so so many negative reviews of this online. it's a solid sequel that delves deeper into the two main characters. Character development is not a bad thing! Decent enough plot and plenty of action as this type of movie warrants. There'll probably be a third film.

Not really sure why but I really like this movie. Maybe its for the actors. I just think that the guy in the movie is bad dude. And the way he comes through no matter what. Hopefully there will be another one. I own both movies.

I've been wanting to watch this movie since it came out. I never got around to watching it before purchasing. I purchased this movie for about $20 and I was not disappointed. If you watched the first one this is a must watch.

Good follow up to the first Sicario. Definitely a must have if you like these type of movies.
