Mwa ha ha. This is the type of movie where all of the characters are doing sneaky stuff that they're not supposed to be doing and getting away with it. It's awesome.

My favorite film of 2015 is Canadian Denis Villeneuve's electrifying and morally-ambiguous portrait of the war against drugs on the border between the US and Mexico, "Sicario", a telling of the rite-of-passage of an idealistic and inexperienced FBI agent, superbly played by Emily Blunt, recruited to join a covert government team to bring down one of Mexico's most dangerous drug barons. She's accompanied by the team's leader, expertly played by Josh Brolin, a tough practical guy who believes the end justifies the means, and has no qualms about ignoring any laws that stand in his way. Also with them is a Mexican assassin played by Benicio Del Toro who has his own agenda. ("Sicario" derives from the Latin word, "Sicarius", meaning 'dagger man'; also 'hit man' in Spanish.) Villeneuve's past work comprises some of the finest films made the last few years (e.g., "Incendies", "Prisoners", and "Enemy") and "Sicario" is a tour-de-force of brilliant technique used to develop character as well as to encourage viewers into questioning their own moral choices in following proper laws or circumventing them for expediency. One critic called this film 'a punch to the gut' and it most certainly achieves that while never losing its grip on the audience, its action heightened by Roger Deakins' evocative cinematography utilizing the finest aerial tracking shots I have ever seen, along with crackerjack editing, and a pulse-pounding electronic music score by Icelandic composer, Jóhann Jóhannsson. Described by its director as "a dark poem," it is a tough, virtually perfect thriller that will stimulate your brain while gluing you to your seat.

If you're into drug cartel films and enjoy a great storyline along with one of the best soundtracks of recent memory, Sicario on blu-ray is a definite purchase!

Good cast of main actors with supporting actors as well. Military undercover covert action in Mexico. Glad to own it as I have enjoyed watching it again.....

A great movie from beginning to end. The acting, the story, the cinematography is all great. One ofthe better movies I've seen in a very long time.

The movie is excellent all around. The story is intriguing and lives in the shadows, grey all around. The UHD disc gets great reviews for picture and sound.

Exciting and well acted adventure and drama about the drug cartels in Mexico. Excellent cast and tense scenes make this an enjoyable thriller to watch.

I have seen this at least 4 times already. But when i saw the blueray versiin for $5 i jumped right on it. Great movie with an even greater ending

This is a cat and mouse movie , yet You get to see the main Character go from idealism to realalistic. As she deals with her moral values

This movie is just as action packed as the 1st one. Im glad he shows a softer spot and has a little bit , a lil bit more mercy before he kill, lol.

I like this movie rather than the 2nd one. A lot more of a story, and a eye into what the society sees as the problems regarding the cartels.

Well made story about drug trafficking south of the U.S. border. Loaded with action and violence. Good performance from Benicio Del Toro.

It’s the drug world today . Great movie lots of action . It that world you can’t be politically correct , unless you want to lose your head .
