Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the graphics, addictive gameplay, and strategic depth of Sid Meier's Civilization® VI. They appreciate the new features and improvements made from the previous version. However, some customers find the higher difficulty levels to be excessively challenging and express concerns about the AI's functionality and the steep learning curve.

Always a fun series
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a Sid Meier game, which means fun and a great time sink. I love this version, though i have been a little disappointed that over the years they have made it more difficult to use cheat codes and such, for those of us that want to have a quick domination of the game

Not an easy game for beginners
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The graphics are great and if you can get the game on sale, it may be worth it. My big problem with it is the AI is downright broken. No matter what you do you end up in war. The AI declares war on you for the most idiotic reasons (for example, not accepting a ridiculous trade offer). This forces you towards a military focused game-play style. Then, you get egregious warmonger penalties even if you are just defending yourself in a war started by others. A game with a lot of potential ruined by the AI and no fix despite all the complaints they are receiving.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not quite like the ones from the past I miss the simpler versions but still addictive and enjoyable as long as you get for less than $60

Some improvement, some back pedling
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From previous versions, they've improved the graphics and simplified some of the actions. I'm not crazy about your workers only lasting 3 actions and some of the political system changes. It is impossible not to go to war, hense impossible to not build a large army. If you want to win by other means, it tends to make that a bit difficult. Still pretty and fun as CIV games tend to be.

Great game lots of potential
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have put hundreds of hours into civ 5 and civ 6 is looking promising with its new features like districts. My only complaint is that the AI is just really bad and won't capitalize on capturing cities and will instead just march around it until their units eventually get picked off. It might be updated and some point but until then it is still a solid game.

New features, not much change
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Some of the new features are great, but for the wait since the last game, they haven't changed much.

Civ 6 returns!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The graphics are unbelievable. Gameplay is a little different but now you really need to think about how you want to build your empire. As the developers have said, no two games are the same. The game just came out so no mods as of yet but the game is awesome already. The downside is the cartoony portrait of the leaders and I thought we'd have more of a selection of leaders. Overall this is a great game that I believe has a ton of replay value. This is not one of those 1-done games.

Beautiful Game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a huge Civ fan! I haven't played the entire series, but I am familiar with Civ 5 and PS3 Revolution. This game is kind of a smash up of them both. Beautiful graphics and a little more complex. Exactly what I was hoping for in the new version.

Best in the series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As big of a fan I am of the old Civ II. After dealing with Civ V the new Civ game is amazing. Both in depth and graphically. Cities spread over several tiles really helps with the game play. Highly recommend to any old Civ or new Civ fans.

Great Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the best Civilization games, improved from previous one, one of the best strategy games available. It is one of those games, you will keep going for one more turn.

Same ol Civ, Just newer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Civilization VI has much of the same great game play as previous entries. However, I've put around 15 hours in it so far, and it's just not as captivating as it used to be. Maybe I've outgrown this genre of games, but I can't help but feel slightly underwhelmed by this effort.

Old favorite with a new twist
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Most gameplay is just as I remembered and liked of the older versions with some new twists. Of course technology tree is updated and fight mechanics are better. Graphics also much improved.

Real deal...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The games' graphics are good. I went from the PS3 version to the computer version. Very different which isn't a bad thing. In the PS3 version I was able to get through a whole came in approximately 3-4 hours. To get through a whole game start to finish has caused me to work more than a 7 -8 hours. This has it's pros and cons...Good game. Wish they would come out with a version for the PS4 or even next generation of playstation platform.

Do NOT Purchase - Even w/ a premium computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read the one star reviews and figured that everyone was using an old computer or something. Not the case. The Digital Download just straight up doesn't work, and Best Buy's help center can't (or won't) do anything to help. Do. Not. Buy. This. Game. Via. Digital. Download.
