This 4K disc expands on work that was done for the 2018 Criterion release, and actually presents the picture in 4K. The depth and clarity are noticeably improved over all other editions, and it is well worth an upgrade

I’d had never seen this film before so I decided to finally get it. Great movie, I can definitely see why it’s a classic. Would definitely recommend!

Good old movie remastered to 4k. If you want a trilling, mistery and want to watch what the movie people took five different serial killers personalities and put them in one serial killer then watch this movie.

One of the best thrillers ever made and Anthony Hopkins performance is to notice along with Jodie foster. This is a must own movie and if you want the best then this is the best it has ever looked and sound.

Excellent movie. Transfer is very good. Picture quality is amazing(besides a few soft scenes) but overall stunning for the age of the film. Wish the audio had been better. Essentially no atmos or anything.

Arguably the best performance by any leading actor ever, Hopkins utterly nails Hannibal. The kind of movie that'll stay with you for a long while. Always worth revisiting.

The Silence of the Lambs is an academy award winning psychological horror film. The film is about an FBI trainees must use one serial killer to catch another. The film is masterfully written, the performances are riveting, and there is a sense of terror and suspense lingering like a cloud over each scene. Buy this movie. You'll love it.

This movie is Jodie Foster and Anthony Hokpins at their best. A young FBI trainee (Foster) gets to work with an imprisoned master serial killer (Hopkins) to try to catch another serial killer who has a Senator's daughter as his captive. The twists and turns of this movie will have you on the edge of your seat.

Great movie! Remastering was well done. Some film grain but that is to be expected. Colors are more vibrant than the regular Blu-ray. Sound is very good also. Classic movie to have for your collection.

A movie with beautiful visuals and color displayed on this 4K disc. Highly recommend! (only drawback is a little color wonkiness near the beginning for about 15 minutes, but still looks great)

I wadnt very impressed with the 4k scan here. Slight upticks in clarity, but not much. There were some very slight changes to the color palette. The blu ray may have even looked better during some scenes. I do not see this as a must buy because it does so little different than the actual blu ray. I give it 4 starts because the film is so good. I give the 4k scan 2 stars tho.

Great film and while the picture looks much better than the DVD issue, the audio has been greatly remastered. While not in Atmos, a definite buy for those looking to add to their collection.

The Silence of the Lambs is a Masterpiece. One of only three films to sweep the big 5 Academy Awards. The others? It Happened One Night and One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest.

THIS is what 4K is all about: watching a movie you know in and out, and there is STILL more to see...because of the incredible quality.

One of the best movies of all time. A classic! New transfer from KL. Did a great job. Picture looks cleaner but the sound is still ok-ish,but hey its a classic! You'll never go wrong.

This classic is timeless. I have watched this movie many times but never in 4K on my year old 65" Sony OLED and OPPO 4K player. Absolute eye candy. What an awesome movie.

I first saw "The Silence of The Lambs" at a midnight showing in my local movie theater, and from then it's been my favorite movie of all-time. This is my first Blu-ray version (have had 3 dvd discs) and my enjoyment of this classic movie is still there, but in greater definition. Thoroughly recommended!

From the first time I saw Silence of the Lambs, I was hooked. Talk about suspense! Yes we know early on who the killer is, but how will they catch him; that's the question. It was an excellent "date" movie to hold your sweetheart's hand.

My wife is a huge fan of this film. Immediately she noticed the image contrast and detail. This is an amazing looking 4K UHD disc.

The Silence of the Lambs is one of the great motion pictures, period. More than a thriller, or a police procedural, or a psychological drama, it is that rarest thing - a perfect piece of filmmaking in which the script, acting and direction is in sync from the first frame to the last.
