The game is true to the Silent Hill franchise. The atmosphere is really haunting and beautiful. You have to play through the game multiple times, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. You will receive the fully realized experience and story of the developers' intentions. There are different endings also. Enjoy!

The game is great! I have been a fan for a very long time. I was amazed from the first game all the way till F. I love how you have to play the game a minimum of 2 times to see every seen it gives the game more replay value unlike alot of games.

I was late to buy and play through silent hill 2 remake. I loved that game soo much. Challenging gameplay great story and great graphics. I know that silent hill f is technically a new game but it still follows the same style of play and puzzle with beautiful graphics as well. I’m not super far into this game but I’m having a great time. If you love horror games(this is more psychological) the. You will love this game.

Silent Hill is so back, and this game is a delight. Captures the atmosphere and hideous beauty of the early Silent Hill games while being its own unique new take on the series. Combat is clunky but surprisingly addictive, and evolves with the story on each New Game+ experience. Highly recommended.

While this technically isn't in the iconic town of Silent Hill the Japanese town design and overall atmosphere makes up for it. The tense situations, unnerving explorations and overall horror you get from the game shows that Konami has reawakened from their almost two decades of slumber to give us gamers a great new intro into the Silent Hill franchise and can only hope they continue in this direction.

I bought this game on disc for PS5. I'd been looking forward to this one for a while, as the follow-up SH game to SH2 Remake, despite both games being developed by different teams. The melee only combat aspect seemed a little odd at first, but it didn't really need any firearms. Despite the original setting of this title, halfway across the world, from where some fans say its supposed to (or should) take place, this game felt right at home. As a long-time gamer, I love it when developers are able to implement new mechanics, with a completely original setting and storyline, but while still feeling like the rest of the games, and that goes for any genre / franchise. Konami did an effective job at making a new game that felt completely original, while still feeling like any other Silent Hill game. Some people just need to learn to appreciate and enjoy things more as they are, and not compare them to something else. If you're a fan of Silent Hill or survival horror games, this one I'd highly recommend!!

Silent Hill F is an excellent horror game! The change of location is so refreshing and something that was exciting to explore. The enemies are different with a vibe that is familiar but new at the same time. Combat was fun, but it was starting to feel a little stale towards the end. Bought the game when it was on sale but it's worth the full price in my opinion.

A very solid entry into the Silent Hill series. It has a very dark and moody atmosphere and keeps the tension and vibe of Silent Hill very much alive. Combat was tough at first, but once youbget the hang of it, it is very satisfying.

Silent Hill f felt to me like a necessary, terrifying rebirth for the series, immediately drawing me in by transplanting its psychological horror to 1960s Japan. Visually stunning and backed by a haunting score, I was engrossed by its profound narrative of social pressure and personal trauma. I found the new, brutal melee combat with its fragile weapons and punishing stamina demands genuinely challenging. It constantly forces you into a state of vulnerability, which I felt beautifully reinforced the game’s core horror themes. This is a gorgeous, disturbing, and utterly essential horror masterpiece that I wholeheartedly recommend playing.

Love to see a unique and daring story in today’s age of gaming! It’s Silent Hill but very different at the same time, especially with the combat and some mechanics. But it’s great!

Genuinely such a spectacular game. It's incredible how much it stays true to being a Silent Hill game despite being set in a new town, Ebisugaoka, and being made so many years since the last game — it has me completely engrossed. Each playthrough is somehow more hyped than the last and it's been such a rewarding experience to play — I cannot recommend it enough. PS — Maybe an unpopular opinion because the targeting system is certainly a little funky, but now I wish every Silent Hill game was melee only — it feels so much more true to the player characters abilities and stories being told, or in the very least it's true to Shimizu Hinako.

The graphics and story were great. The combat was a little stiff and the enemy variety was somewhat lacking. Overall a good time if you can get past those two things. I put the combat on easy and the puzzles on hard. Enjoyed it more that way

I loved this different take on the Silent Hill franchise. There were multiple endings which warrant at least a 2nd playthrough. This version of Silent Hill is more melee-focused. This Silent Hill version may not be for everyone but I really enjoyed this spin-off.
