Silent Hill f is the newest entry in the series, which expands upon concepts seen in SH2 Remake, mainly the combat which now uses a stamina system, all with new moves to make things fresh. The story set 1960's Japan is very interesting and distinct from other SH stories. Its really scary when it wants to be and its the perfect next step for this highly-praised franchise.(9/10)

It was a great game the story line was good the combat mechanics sucks but the fame play and story line made up for it really njoyed playing it

Slightly different vibes than most entries in the series, but by the time I was finished playing I really liked it. Be prepared to do more than one playthrough though, as much of the story remains hidden the first time through.

I love this game the graphics are beautiful the puzzles are challenging the story behind the game is deep and you start to understand the more you play through the game.

Definitely was scared playing it first time around but even more fun and entertaining playing it multiple times to get the multiple different endings. Really loved the main character hinako.

This is a great game overall, Not quite as good as the Silent Hill 2 remake IMO, but it is still very good.

I’m not giving it to one star because of the game itself. The game is actually really good. I highly recommend it. I’m giving her one star because of Best Buy. I swear I keep giving them way too many chances when it comes to pre order items and I don’t understand why I keep going back to pre-order from them, but my case was completely a messed up upon arrival. It looked like it was run over by something case completely crushed, disc was messed up. I wouldn’t recommend pre-ordering or having anything shipped from Best Buy.

The game is fantastic. It's a step away from the classic silent hill games, but it still feels like a silent hill game. The combat is fun and engaging, the story is pretty good, and the atmosphere is creepy.

I was late to buy and play through silent hill 2 remake. I loved that game soo much. Challenging gameplay great story and great graphics. I know that silent hill f is technically a new game but it still follows the same style of play and puzzle with beautiful graphics as well. I’m not super far into this game but I’m having a great time. If you love horror games(this is more psychological) the. You will love this game.

The combat feels clunky at times, and there’s perhaps too much action for a series known for psychological horror. Still, it’s forgivable—the developers clearly tried to evolve the formula, adding tension through struggle rather than power. Overall, Silent Hill F is an eerie, beautifully tragic experience that blends classic psychological horror with a new cultural lens. It’s imperfect, but unforgettable.

The graphics and story were great. The combat was a little stiff and the enemy variety was somewhat lacking. Overall a good time if you can get past those two things. I put the combat on easy and the puzzles on hard. Enjoyed it more that way

I bought this game on disc for PS5. I'd been looking forward to this one for a while, as the follow-up SH game to SH2 Remake, despite both games being developed by different teams. The melee only combat aspect seemed a little odd at first, but it didn't really need any firearms. Despite the original setting of this title, halfway across the world, from where some fans say its supposed to (or should) take place, this game felt right at home. As a long-time gamer, I love it when developers are able to implement new mechanics, with a completely original setting and storyline, but while still feeling like the rest of the games, and that goes for any genre / franchise. Konami did an effective job at making a new game that felt completely original, while still feeling like any other Silent Hill game. Some people just need to learn to appreciate and enjoy things more as they are, and not compare them to something else. If you're a fan of Silent Hill or survival horror games, this one I'd highly recommend!!

Horrifically beautiful gameplay!! Perfect blend of story, puzzles and horrifying encounters. I usually have trouble finding a game that can hold my interest but this one always kept me engaged. Highly recommend.

A very solid entry into the Silent Hill series. It has a very dark and moody atmosphere and keeps the tension and vibe of Silent Hill very much alive. Combat was tough at first, but once youbget the hang of it, it is very satisfying.
