System easy to set up, seems to work well, had great range to components

I recently bought a complete Wireless Alarm System from the SimpliSafe website, but needed another Motion Sensor because I installed one in a room that is protected by a SimpliCam, which I had not installed yet because I installed Sensors first. Rather than take it down and leave a nasty spot in that corner, I left it there and bought another one. Best Buy had them at my local store for the same price as the SimpliSafe website, so I bought one to, not only have it immediately, but also save on the shipping. The only thing different about it was the Retail Packaging.

This is the second motion sensor I added to my SimpliSafe system. They work well and give you added protection when someone walks by it and the system was not triggered yet. They are very easy to install and I use the App instead of the keypad. Would recommend to use on a staircase if most of your other sensors are downstairs.

The Simplisafe components are easy to install and setup. Put base station on your wireless network. Put control panel in add device mode, detect sensor, name sensor. Peal off stickers on the back, chose your location stick to wall. Done. Works great. I had an issue installing a couple of the components because the wall surface was a little rough but pushing harder took care of keeping the components stuck to the wall. This is especially important for the motion sensors... If they come off the wall they will set off the alarm if the alarm is on.

No wires. Pull the tab. Easy to install. 3M tape works very well.

Simplisafe is a great do-it-yourself security system that is super easy to setup and also provides monitoring services. This addition is wicked easy to add to your system - literally 3 minutes from taking it out of the box to added to the network.

Easy to set up, and accurate home security device.

We bought the SimpliSafe home security system around 6 months ago, a base package that was on sale through the website. That package came with the base two door sensors and one motion sensor. We added this motion sensor to cover the entire lower level of our townhouse. Very easy to add!

So far so good and it is not being set off by my 65 pound dog who gets on furniture and so she might have be seen as a taller human.

I bought this to add to my new system. I also have had one at my other place for a few years. Works great, and never any false alarms

The basic package I bought four months ago had only one motion sensor in it and I needed three. The first one was installed in the most crucial spot in my home. I bought this now to add to the system; using BB reward points to get it a little cheaper since these never really go on sale, at Best Buy or on the SimpliSafe site. When I added/installed this I had to put the system into test mode. In less than 20 seconds after doing so I received a call from the SimpliSafe monitoring center making sure I was okay and that I intended to put it into test mode. Impressed.

Read the reviews online and thought I'd give it a shot. It took less than 30-minutes to install 4 doors, 2 motion detectors, a glass break sensor, and camera. Very intuitive and easy to install.

This Motion Sensor performs extremely well. Be sure to mount upside down if you have any animal roaming your home.

We purchased this security system for our new home. This was placed in areas providing more coverage overlapping the door and window connectors. In conjunction with the other parts it gives us peace of mind when we're out of the house. A+

Wanted extra coverage beyond the 2 motion sensors provided. It was added easily to the system

I was a very long-term ADT customer. When I got my new house they wanted in and outrageous amount of money to install my new system. They told me that a simply safe system would never work in a home my size. They said that the system would never be able to handle the amount of devices that I wanted to put on. They were wrong. I’ve been in my home for seven months and the systems worked flawlessly. I have every SimpliSafe device you can imagine. They all work as advertised that I am very happy. They’re monitoring system is fantastic and they’re hyper responsive. You’ll save a ton of money if you go this route.

I purchased another SimpliSafe Motion Sensor to expand the coverage area being protected. Adding the sensor to the system was simple. SimpliSafe has a great system and the wireless sensors make it so easy to expand the coverage.

We needed another motion sensor to cover our hallway, I set it up, put the security system into device mode, synced it and tested it. Simplisafe makes it easier and I am glad I can purchase little accessories like this in stores.

Works well and has some sensitivity adjustments to get it just right!
