This is a great security system, we love it. Great price, easy to set up, and works great. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a security system.

So easy to install. Get piece of mind in five minutes. Literally had the whole building setup in minutes. Maybe exaggerating a bit. But it was less than a half hour. Saw a shady character hanging around outside my business via a security camera (prior to buying the SimpliSafe cameras which I recommend if you have a SimpliSafe system). Pretty sure this dude was up to no good. As soon as he saw the camera he split. Wasn’t about to just hope he didn’t break in later. Ran out and bought this system. Immediately felt better about it. A few months later I had a false alarm (motion sensor caught something falling) but I didn’t answer the monitoring center’s call and police arrived within a few minutes. Pretty good. So go ahead bad guy, break in.

I bought this for backup of an existing system. Very good price at the time. Also using some parts for expansion of existing system.

We were ADT subscribers for 7 years, and when we moved to our new house we decided it was time to stop paying $35 a month for an antiquated security system. We got the SimpliSafe set on sale for around $200 and setup took 20 minutes. So for essentially $5 per month less the first year and then $20 less every year after that, we have a much more intuitive and attractive system. I also love that it is modular and you can add components to it as you see fit. For example we added a water sensor and 2 panic buttons for $60 and intend to continue to beef up the system as needed.

So far, the system is working well. We have had two entry sensors fail, so the 5 stars is for customer service. The base station gave a warning that an entry sensor wasn’t responding, so I started trouble shooting with the key pad. Well, not even two minutes I received a call from SimpliSafe because they saw that I was having trouble. They walked me through some steps to reset it, and after a few minutes determined that it was bad. I had a new one in a couple of days! When the second one quit working, I called them, we tried a couple of things, and they sent me a new one as well. No fuss, no muss! Everything else is working great.

SimpliSafe is above and beyond the most amazing security system we’ve ever had. No monthly contract, reasonably priced (and highly effective!) sensors, cameras, motion detectors, etc. In our first month having it, my wife accidentally forgot to turn it off, took the dog for a walk. and came home to find the police here 10 minutes later. Whoops! They weren’t kidding about the fast response time. Camera quality is incredibly clear, door sensor parts can be placed a good distance from one-another if you have odd gaps like we do, the key FOB and phone apps are great for controlling the system, and I like that the key pay can be detached/call the police of destroyed.

Bought one of these for my mother's house and now for mine. Works great and at a much better price than other systems.

Love this alarm system! Easy to set up and use. Easy to add the video doorbell or more window/door alarms to.

I have had this security system for about two months now and have know complaints. Set up required know tools, it has an app that works wonderfully. I am able to arm and disarm through app and I can monitor my home from the app when I am not home

I got this because i needed a cheap DIY solution. Tooks minutes to setup. Worth it and would recommend!

I am renting a house for the next few months and needed an alarm system that did not have to be hard-wired into the home. I have seen the ads for SimpliSafe and decided to give it a try. I was so impressed with the ease of setup. It only took me about 15 minutes to have all of the components set up and running and it does the job better than my former subscription name brand alarm service (who is charging me a $250 termination fee!). I will continue to use this product. The ease of setup is amazing and it works flawlessly. This is one of the best consumer electronic products I’ve seen in awhile.

Overall an excellent system - and really well installed by Geek Squad. PROBLEM: One camera did not work - the craziness of SimpliSafe and FedEx NOT working together on behalf of the customer is incredible. I spent hours - yes hours - on the phone talking to both companies for a week, neither of which did a thing to solve the problem they created. I will be writing serious letters to both companies.

The system was very easy to install. The directions were clear and I was pleased with the way the setup process.

The system is pretty intelligently designed. Easy basic setup, sleek unimposing features for the most part, and functions adequately. However, the manufacturer advertises their system with heavy emphases on "no contract", "compatible with Alexa/Google", and "dispatch police/fire when alarms are triggered". This would be fine if they did a better job explaining that the only way to integrate all of the marketed features is to enroll in a monthly monitoring plan of $15-25. Out-of-the-box functionality is rudimentary at best and requires you to take action based on text/email alerts only in the event of a triggered alarm. There is no ability to control the system remotely or through another integrated product at all without subscribing to their monthly plans (no obligation free trial offered). Misleading sales approach aside, comparable system equipment could easily cost $600+, is likely a permanent fixture once installed, and it is nearly impossible to find a 24/7 security monitoring service for less than $25 per month, much less including some of the SimpliSafe features. Initial impression was somewhat off-putting, but we'll see if a bit more peace of mind is worth the monthly expense.
