These are a great addition to add to your SimpliSafe system. They record when alarm is activated and provide great picture quality.

The camera seems to capture video well and has some settings that you can program to operate more or less for privacy. I enjoy the access through the app to live video over WiFi. My biggest complaint is that the camera does not actually trigger the alarm system, you only get “activity” notifications to the app. This means they are basically forcing you into buying other sensors to actually trip the alarm and the camera is only a secondary sensor.

When I purchased this camera I was concerned it would have issues because the price was excellent. Once home I had it connected and integrated with my security system within 5 minutes. Easily setup with the Simplisafe app and has worked since. Highly recommend this camera, quality and ease of setup is awesome.

These cameras are easy to set up. The motion detection does not work as I would like, but I believe that is more of a Simplisafe issue rather than Best Buy without a doubt. For the price they were a good investment though.

If you have a monitored SimpliSafe security system a camera is a great addition. For indoor use only, when placed in a high traffic area, confirms that someone has entered the premises. The camera itself works fine, just make sure that your wifi router works with 2.4ghz components. Bought this one on sale at 1/2 off, which was a great deal.

These are great cameras. They have awesome clarity and include night vision, 2 way microphone, and can even be set to be used as motion detection. They are very easy to connect to your existing Simplisafe system. I would purchase again.

Love SimpliSafe and the ability to add on to your system! I am always looking for areas where I can add an additional sensor or camera to have all corners of the house covered! The camera is great quality, easy to setup and small enough to blend in.

Bought this to add with our SimpliSafe system. Nice camera. Works great in dark rooms as well. May end up buying another to put in our hallway. Very simple to set up.

I bought this to use with my simplisafe alarm. The quality is great and I know if there’s motion when I’m not home.

I can't complain too much about the cam because there aren't many hundred dollar cams (or any) that integrate with and/or work independently from a security system...In short, you can pay 5 bucks a month for monitoring/recording without the SimpliSafe system or add it to the system that you already have and are paying 15 bucks each month for...remember there are still no contracts with SimpliSafe which is a bonus...however, it only records in 720, not 1080...Also, although it is matte black and on a metal stand, the Canary is a higher quality product and offers a siren too...Not a bad buy but maybe do your homework first to decide if you want to add Alexa/Google Assistant which this cam doesn't offer either.

It was easy to set up and add to our already simplisafe system. It gives you a good picture day or night.

These are perfect! They have a physical privacy shutter that can be set to be closed when you’re home. They are fully integrated into the system and take a 1:05 min video when motion is detected. I have six of these plus the doorbell and I’m buying more

It's a good indoor security camera. However, there is no panning or tilting. It has good images/videos. It does make a clicking sound when it's recording or when you are viewing it "live". That is, it clicks whenever the shutter opens or closes. This is due to the privacy shutter. A closed shutter gives you an extra level of privacy when you are at home. An open shutter lets you capture a few seconds of footage before an event. According to SimpliSafe, this is recommended for away mode. If you don't want the clicking sound to be heard then I think you can just leave the shutter to be open all the time. We subscribe to SimpliSafe alarm so we can record videos with this camera. There is audio and microphone. Night mode is good too. This can also be placed outdoors, but you'll have to buy the outdoor case from SimpliSafe.

The camera is easy to install and has good video and audio. Only real con is it requires an outlet, which limits placement options. Best if used with a Simplisafe system.

The the set up was very easy and fast to do, The pictures are very clear. The phone app is nice to have and that was very fash and easy to install. I would buy this product again if I want more cameras on my system.
