I personally loved the movie and this presentation was very good. Sound and picture quality was nice, but nothing here was over exciting. Worth the discounted price that i paid.

Look up "Hollywood musical" and you find this!

Hollywood tries to recapture its musical past, and has had some successes ("Chicago"), but mostly failures. After watching "Singin' in the Rain", you'll see why it's so hard to make lightning strike twice. The film's spectacular musical sequences are wrapped up in an easy-to-follow story based around the real transition in Hollywood from silent films to "talkies" thanks to the runaway success of "The Jazz Singer". While all the major players get significant screen time, front and center is Gene Kelly, and deservedly so. This BD conversion is excellent and includes a number of retrospective features honoring the 60th anniversary of the film in 2012. If you prefer old Hollywood to new Hollywood, add this film to your collection to enjoy again and again!

A really enjoyable film about the dawn of sound films. The story was good, the acting great - the woman who plays Lena Lamont was very funny. This film has great music, a good plot, funny dialogue - everything was a blast! I had been told how much fun this movie was and now that I've finally seen it, I agree. I wish that I had seen it sooner and the bluray treatment is very good. Great picture and sound.

Singing in the Rain is an American Classic. Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds, Donald O'Conner are all fabulous in this. If you llike singing and dancing you'll love it. The audio and video are great (taking into account the age of the film.). Highly reccommended!

Great transfer of a classic movie. Some of the blu-tau transfers of classic movies aren't worth buying but this is a MUST BUY... Super crisp visuals and stunning audio enhance this classic film.
