I've owned various styles and incarnations of XM-Sirius radios and this one is the best ever! It possesses a big sound considering its size (although it is larger than the Roadie 2 it replaced in my car) and I love the visual display of station information!

Going from an old portable MiFi to the Edge was so easy. Best Buy's installation was fast and they did a great job of placement in our 2008 Prius... just below the center dash storage and certainly out of the dash area. The color display is bright and so easy to read and the combination of memory buttons that also serve as direct selection and the rotary knob that turns stations gives all the controls you really need. The only thing I miss is not having a remote (which is not a loss for the driver but the kids that want to change channels). A great radio at a great price! I wished we had bought it sooner!

This is a great device that looks good and is easy to use. I recommend having Best Buy install it so it looks professional. They only negative thing for me is there is no remote, even though you can buy one. Also, I had an older model that allowed me to set an alert whenever my favorite artist or song was playing. This device does not have that feature.

I would look at other units. Only had the first radio for three months when it started not working properly. I bought a second one and the same thing has happened. Have had the same exact problem with these radio units. The radio doesn't have a tight connection to its base and the radio cuts in and out. I even tried buying a new docking base and the same thing still happened. The warranty does provide for a replacement, however it is not a new unit, it is refurbished one. Top top it off, I was charge a radio swap fee for activating the other unit.

Was super easy to install, especially since my truck has a direct audio input. Sounds as good as a factory unit. Looking forward to getting an additional dock to use it on the boat, and the speaker/dock to use at home and on the travel trailer.

Only issue I have with this receiver is the sensitivity of the small tuner knob with slight indents. I find that I have to slightly roll it back and forth to get it to land on the right station. Everything else about the unit is great. Fortunately I have built in XM in my vehicle and this was purchased for the wife's car (smaller hands = easier to use)

Wost thing was that the sales person made it sound like it's as easy as pluggin in your iPod...No it's not! Give yourself more time to figure out how it will work with your car stereo. My car is a 2011, heaven help you if you have an older car stereo! (Get it installed if that's the case!)

works good, sounds good, easy to use, and move from sound dock to vehicle.. downside no song saver...

Bought for trip to Arizona, installed easily and works flawlessly. Can listen anywhere to favorite programs. Easy to operate.

My son did the install. Received satellite right away. I think it lasted for a week or so until I had to subscribe. Wish there was info on how long the free trial is, I was worried that I would be on a trip and lose music. Anyway, it looks good and sounds great. Love it!

I got this radio to replace an older radio that stopped working. I was able to get this radio because I purchased the Geek Squad protection plan for the old radio and Best Buy let me pick out a new radio. The first radio did not work so I went back and got another one. The sales people at Best Buy were very helpful and made the exchanges very easy for me. Needless to say, I bought the Geek Squad protection plan for this new radio.

This radio definitely gets the job done as far as giving you access to all of the great channels available from xm/Sirius and live sports broadcasts. I love that I can listen to my Detroit Tigers whenever they are playing. The only downside that I can see is having wires all over the place. You need a wire for power, antenna, and Aux audio input. There are wires dangling despite my best efforts to hide them. If I were to do it all over again, I'd buy an in-dash unit so that I wouldn't have all of the wires.

Great new unit for satellite radio. Could use a remote control for ease of use while driving. Great signal reception! Scans for strongest and closest vacant station to set for reception. Can set mutiple vacant station addresses and move to them as needed. This process is tricky as when you are driving/moving, hard to manipulate controls. Otherwise, I'd definitely recommend it for a buy. Good price!! Color screen.

I live out in the country so I really do not get any good local radio stations. This fills that void during my work commute, and while I run errands. Great variety in music. Great reception besides in covered areas when it absoluetly is gone, but I am in those places on such a limited basis that it really is of no consequence. Took 20 minutes to install. Love it! Wish I would have bought it sooner.

It was easy to set up and use. Used at home, in office and in our RV when traveling as well as in car. Much cheaper than having add on antennae put in our car and have ability to use in other places too! It would be handy if there was some way to mount the antennae temporarily on a window.

Love having a Sirius radio while traveling and not having to search for stations from city to city. Can chose the type of music we want to listen to when we want to listen to it. We like oldies and have there are not many radio stations left that play the 60's music.

i love the little unit. works great in the car with the buy option vehicle kit. . menu is easy to navigatel great letter size. dial is responsive. overall a great buy.

I'm satisfied with this unit.it doesn't have the options that the old receivers had. even though I paid almost as much for this one as I did for the old one. The older models had a remote so I didn't have to reach and it also let you store your favorite artists and songs.

Once installed this unit does tend to move a bit, also the sound leaves a little to be desired. Having not owned any other units I would guess that, as far as external units go, these issues are common. It's cheaper than replacing my stock stereo so overall I'm happy.

Great radio for in car or home use. I have owned the ROADY XT and was excited to install the new radio.
