As a long time XM user, it was time to upgrade my old SkyFi. The SkyDock looked cool and I take my iPod Touch with me everywhere anyway. What I found was the navigation was a lot easier between or browsing stations. I also like the reminders for my favorite baseball team (Go Twins!). Tagging of songs will be great, because I can never remember the artists when I'm at my PC. I kept my old SkyFi active so I could continue to use the XM Boombox with it. It would be GREAT if they made a boombox to go with the touch and the XM App, but I don't think it can happen because the radio ID is with the SkyDock unit and not the touch. All in all, a good purchase so far......

sooo easy. just the antania needs to be routed.... after that its just a simple phone call and a quick xm payment, and i was jamming to the greatest music of all time

I bought the Skydock and was amazed at how easy the install was. I would recommend it for the ease of how the operating system works and another plus, it works perfect with the iPhone 4

The product is just what I expected. Can use the iPod as well as the XM. It charges my iPhone while it is docked. I can adjust the arm out of the way of my heater controls. When I receive a call I can answer using my ear piece without removing the phone from the dock. When I disconnect the XM goes back to the same station it was previously on before the call. I am very pleased with my skydock. Very easy set up also.

Got one of these shortly before they came out to replace an ancient Roady. It worked great for a little over a month and then just stopped connecting to the iTouch. I reinstalled the app and still nothing. Called XM and they were less than helpful. They told me to return it for a new one at Best Buy. Best Buy took the old one, gave me a new one and I was on my way. Well, It stopped working yesterday. Almost a month exactly. The FM modulator still works but it just doesn't connect with the app. My account is in good standing and paid up. I am going to return this one and go back to a normal XM unit. Very disappointed.

The Sky Dock does exactly what it says it does. Easy set up and great sound and performance. App gives you a lot of the features offered on the lynx radio at a discount. Great touch screen interface!

Love It!!! I wanted it so bad that I cancelled my contract with T-Mobile (paid the cancellation fee) and hopped on the ATT bandwagon just to have XM Radio. Looks freaking great in my car!!!

what a simple way to have XM in more than one vehicle. Plugs into power socket...tune in the Siruis/XM app onyour iPhone/ITouch and voila!

we trade our car with xm but loved the programing so we got this. Love the way it works with the ipod touch. You can tag song from xm to purchase later. Better than the stock radio. No issues yet

This dock with the FM direct connect is the best dock ever. I don’t use the XM I just purchased it as a dock to play my iPhone and I heart radio. You won’t be disappointed.

We bought this Skydock for our 2006 Toyota Sequoia as it seemed like a great idea to be able to get XM Radio or play our ipod with the same piece of equipment. We had Best Buy install the unit with a hard wired FM transmitter which was supposed to kill the station that we used on the radio and transmit from the ipod or XM through the car radio on this station without the possibility of any static. It did not work. In some areas that we drove where the normal FM radio signals were poor, we had no problems and the sound was great. Once we got into any area where we received normal FM signals, however, we got static and interference on the supposedly "dead" station. We were not even near any large cities when this occurred. We took our car back to Best Buy and they agreed that the hard-wired FM transmitter they installed should have allowed interference-free transmission from the Skydock unit to our radio. They tried changing the station we used on the radio to broadcast from the Skydock and that did nothing to help. They changed the FM transmitter and that also did nothing to solve the problem. The technician was stumped, so I had the unit uninstalled and will let the Toyota dealer install one instead. For whatever reason, the FM transmitter that Best Buy uses would not block out signals from the station we chose to transmit to on our Sequoia, and the Best Buy folks had no idea why. They were nice about trying to solve the problem and I had no issues returning everything and getting credit for the install, but I would have preferred if they could actually get the Skydock to transmit without static as they said it would.

iPhone/iTouch can only run one app at a time, so you are limited to either having your XM run or using any Navigation app

I was pretty excited about this, as I wanted to dump my old sat unit and have a single connection where I could play music on my iPhone and listen to sat. However, the plug in is too large for my '04 Tundra power outlet. This meant that the unit would not stay powered and I almost destroyed the outlet trying to remove the unit.

The skydock is great. My wife loves it and it works great with her iphone. Would recommend to anyone.

The is easy to install and gets great reception everywhere. Very happy with my purchase.

i liked SiriusXM radio, it's very cool. i'm going to get one!

Got this unit a week ago. Installed it broke the day of instal do to poor craftsmanship. Used it for about a hour and turned it off. I expected quality of sound close to what my I touch would play. Sound was very flat and lifeless for bass and highs were super bright played a song I know well off my I touch to test my thoughts as the head phone Jack was still plugged into the dock and sound quality was still horable. Needless to say I don't know the quality of Xm but I know this dock sounds really poor with my component set and subwoofer don't waste tour time. Ohh and I forgot to mention the fact I have to pay 10 bucks a month for stations that all seem this bad. I hope slacker radio makes a compairable option soon. Too bad my android sounds almost as bad streaming slacker off it or I would be good to go. Why can't android make as good of a music player as a I phone or I touch sigh.

I bought this from Best Buy and tried to make it work in my Hummer H3. After looking into the instuction manual, I notice you need to purchase more parts for additional price of $95.00. It not worth it unless you have newer model auto.

Doesn't work in the shorter style power points in the BMWs. In my case, a 330xi. Had to return it. Great idea, but the fact that it doesn't work in my car warrants a one-start rating.
