Overall, this game is by far the best skating simulation game out there in the world of gaming. It is a new experience because there is no button mashing. I love the new thumb flick system and the game feels much more real than button mashing. I think if you haven't played this game yet, you need to. You'll be brought into a world of digital graphics and gameplay far more advanced than regular button mashing skate games.

now like others said, theyve played their share of tony hawk games, but Skate isnt a game its a simulator. when i played the demo earlier today i was astonished ive been skateboarding for 16 years. and this is by far the closest ill get to real skating on a rainy day. id give this game 10 stars if theyd let me. if you havent gotten this game yet, get off the computer go out to your closest store and buy it.

This game puts THPS to shame. The camera angles combined with the realistic game-play make SKATE a truly awesome game. When you complete a trick, you feel as if you have actually accomplished something significant as opposed to just pressing a button for an automated response. You have to try and try again to complete technical lines and maneuvers, just like in real life. One of the top 5 games on XBOX360.

This is the absolute best skateboarding game I have ever played. Probably best game period. The flick it controls make it so realistic because it imitates how your foot would actually move on a skateboard. It's not ridiculous where you can ollie 55 feet in the air but only 4 or 5 feet, like in real life. It has a great story mode where you are an unknown skater and obtain sponsorships to become a pro.

This game makes the Tony Hawk games look like junk6. it is anwsome go out and buy it

I love to skateboard in real life, so this game was definitely on my list when i got an xbox 360. It is so realistic how one joystick controls the board, and the other joystick controls the body. it's way fun, there's racing, best trick, s.k.a.t.e. and tons of fun online stuff you can do to. this game is one of the only games out there that is fun for any age and both guys and girls.

The controls are great but touchy at times but after awhile you figure out cheap ways to do tricks fast. I like how you can use the analog stick as controls. I use to be a master at Tony Hawk games then i played this and i thought this was so much better but the storyline of Tony Hawk is better but EA took more time on graphics and feel to it. all an all it's a great game

This is probably one of the best skate games out yet. You get to create a completely customizable character with loads of clothing and skateboard options. Theres tons of objectives, photoshoots, videos, and competitions for hours of gameplay. i would recommend this game to ANYONE even if there not that into skateboard games. I play this game for hours, and never get bored.

Skate is the best game for skaters. The graphics are realistic. I personally love games that you get to create your person you play. This game shows so many ways to play. You get to skate around the city. You can film your trips and accomplish goals. Also the challenges are really addicting. The only reason I gave this game a 4 star is because of the Flick-it. Most of the time, I don't do a trick I want to do. If you want to do a specific trick, something else comes up, and you really get frustrated.

This game is such a fresh change of pace from "THPS" series. I use to love that game and i dont think i could ever play it again, i recently tried the demo and immediatly shut it off to play this again. I defintly recomend this game to everyone who likes skateboarding games its super realistic, fun and stylish. Not to mention the awesome graphics.

This Game is awsome!There is so many things to do you can skate in jam's,do pro challenge, go to the X-GAMES etc and get alot of sponsors along the way! This game has alot of pro's such as Danny way,P-rod Jason Dill,Pj Ladd etc.The "Flick it" controls take some time to get used to other than that this game is a must have for your xbox 360!

easily one of my favorite games ever to come out no more tony hawk, thats for sure, you actually have to try in this game, yes it can be non realistic, but you have to try to make it so for it to happen, otherwise if you hit a small little ledge or a street corner you go flying off you board just like in real life

Skate. is by far one of the best skating games that has been released. The revolutionary trick system makes it so you can play this game for a long time, and enjoy it. So definitely try this game, and Skate. 2 comes out January 2009, so be prepared for another amazing experience.

seriously, i have been playing for three months, and i still haven't found even half the secret spots in the game. So many backyard pools and halfpipes. and other great gameplay spots. features most grab and flip tricks with the flick it system. i never get bored

Best Skating game out there. It has pro skaters, cool missions and many other things to do.

I'm not a huge skateboarding fan, but I will say that this game is much more realistic than the TH games; and therefore, more fun. The controls seem much more intuitive and force you to think ahead when planning moves, rather than just mashing on the buttons to string combos. Graphics are superb and sound is above average. I'd say it's worth your hard earned cash!

This game is a great break from the mundane Tony Hawk games, and with any luck we will see a positive change in the TH line of products. There is not allot to say except, WOW this is a great game. My only complaints are the inability to walk and take full advantage of the HUGE city, also the animations for the skater is poor and could stand some motion caption

This game is phenomenal, i dont own it but i have played it and it is the best game i have ever played. The new flick it option is amazing, which makes you feel as if you really doing the tricks, i recomend this to everyone!!!

This game is amazing the new tony hawk game is terrible its garbage i would rather play project 8 its more realistic but skate blows it all away its like the best game in the world so everyone should go get it like right now!
