Much better systems are now available. Mine usually does not notify me based on motion. When it does sense Amazon leaving a package right in front of it, by the time I get a notification, the driver is long gone. If the someone rings the doorbell, by the time the app connects, that person has likely already left. Too bad I can't rate ZERO stars.

Picture quality is very good, app is ok, motion sensor is hit or miss, not always “seeing” activity. App really needs to be updated to really work with Alexa in a useful way

This doorbell is very nice and convenient since you can answer from wherever you may find yourself ( any part of the world ). Plus need to mention that skybell gives you unlimited online video storage so you can save your videos and retrieve them whenever you like.

I've had this for a few years now and is a good wifi video doorbell. Its old now and doesn't have any integration with Alexa, but picture quality is really good.

Nice image video, it records when somebody it's close to the door even when they don't ring the bell, the only thing it's the speaker, it's kind of low and it's at its maximum level.

Doorbell was easy to install and sync. Works 90%, picture quality is great, live view is great, motion detect works great. Except.... When someone rings the doorbell, I can't hear their voice. Sounds like the ambient noise is drowning their voice out. The person at the door can hear me. I found my issue on Skybell Q&A page but it says to contact them. HORRIBLE TECH SUPPORT.... I called twice, both times I used the feature to have a tech call me when available. Both times I get an automated call back saying no one is available to assist me at this time. Defeats the whole automated call back purpose. I submitted an online ticket a few days ago, I have not heard back. I can't decide whether or not to exchange or get money back. Ring Doorbell does not have a live view feature, maybe I'll take it back and wait for a future version. For the money, this thing should work 100%

Saves a week of footage at 1080p without a subscription. Looks and sounds good. Seldomly, I do not get no notifications any mostly they are a bit delayed but it works for my usage.

Wow... I'm impressed with Skybell HD! It was very easy to install following the written and video directions. Downloading the iPhone app and setting it up was easy, and connecting up to my WiFi was easy. Get it? EASY! Worked as SOON as it was connected! Great online help and FAQs to answer all the questions that I had. Preinstallation checklist takes you through verifying everything that needs to work with the product. Very happe!

I like this over the Ring. Ring, after 30 days you will have to paid for video. The skybell is life time. I can review my videos and the qualities is great. So far no downtime and working great.

Bought this to monitor package deliveries last Christmas. Choose this over Ring because the cloud recording is free. However, the Ring system does have more components now if you want a more capable security system.

This was very easy to setup and install. All I had to do was connect two wires from my existing doorbell sytem, drill one hole (due to the fact that of of the existing hole did not line up), and go though the wizard on the app. This was very easy to use. Also another benefit of this product is that it is made in the USA.

Absolutely in love with this product. After researching competitors I opted with SkyBell and I'm so glad I did. The clarity and wide range is even better than my security camera. The ability to record, playback video and listen and speak for free is a big bonus! The LED can be customized to a wide variety. The motion sensor is very sensitive. It even picks up the passing cars. Overall extremely happy.

The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is the first one I bought was defective and I had to exchange it. I have been using the SkyBell since the first version. The HD is greatly improved. Easy setup and integrates great with my Honeywell alarm.

First I would like to emphasize this is not meant to be a security camera as is. It does what is meant to do, when someone rings the doorbell sends a notification to your phone to see who is at the door, also when someone aproches your door and lets you answer wherever you are. I bought 2 of these. Problems: I had to replace my transformer and get a better router (I had 25 devices hooked to the old one and needed the upgrade) Now it works fine. Compared to others, these have no fees, I like the fact that you can see the thumbnails for the videos recorded, Ring does not do that, Nest does record 24 hours a day and you can see the history as a timeline but you pay for that convenience. You can use Skybell a a security camera if you own smartthings and in conjunction with IFTTT as you can have a spare sensor trigger recordings without notifications, this way you won't get false alarms, the skybell app will still send the notifications as it normally would on its own. Pros. Free recording, cheaper than competitors, operates in more temperature ranges than others, easy to instal, 1080P recording, good quality video, price won't cost you a leg and an arm. Cons. Only 2.4 Ghz compatible, needs a strong wifi signal or a repeater nearby.

The doorbell was easy to mount with existing doorbell wiring. It is paired to my network. Modem is about 12 feet from front door. It is a brick house. The app usually has very good video. And good audio quality. The signal strength usually shows good. Occasionally it shows fair. However, in both cases the video quality is excellent.

Unlike other video doorbells, you do not have to pay a monthly fee to get your recordings for Skybell. I was down on them previously but recent software updated have done away with concerns I had. The advice I would give to someone investing in one is that if you change settings after set-up make sure you hit save to keep those settings.

I bought this for my daughter and she is completely satisfied with the performance of this product. The picture is great and responds quickly to motion as well as someone pressing the button. She gets a notification on her cell phone allowing her to monitor activity at her front door.

The Skybell is a good addition to my security system. We have gotten a couple of false activation notices, but always seems to work when needed. We know when packages were left at the door or if we missed a visitor. Installation was a piece of cake. App works well too.

Easy to hookup and use. Has been very reliable so far.
