Very good and interesting starter game for younger kids (over 7 recommended). The game mech is very nice and fresh. Gameplay is simple enough for kids to understand, and storyline is cute and funny. Can be annoying at time. The only gripe is that in order to fully clear the game and access all its features you need to spend at least $100.00 to buy the other figurines that the starter set comes in. I have been playing this game with my 4 year old son and he really enjoys the ability to trap the bad guys and use them against the enemies. Its kind of funny to hear them as they get trapped in the traps, they each have a different saying. So far he likes this game better than the previous Giants series

This is by far the best skylanders version released as far as enjoyable gaming playtime, holding kids interest and not being able to beat the entire game too quickly; however, having to buy all the characters, crystals and traps separately is costly.

My son plays every chance he gets. He likes the concept as well. I as parent just wish you did not have to buy a new portal every time there is a new addition. I already have to get the additional characters, so its not like they aren't make their money.

Good game for kids and adults. Surprisingly great graphics, and the toys to life aspect is something kids are really going to love. The main downside is that if you do have kids(and maybe if you don't), you're going to want more figures. The game constantly reminds you of things you COULD be playing with but aren't unless you buy them with real money.

I purchased Skylanders for myself because my son already has Disney Infinity. I have truly enjoyed Skylanders more, and I believe my 5 year old has as well, because it is more focused on missions vs building, which is not something most 5 year olds do well, unless it is with legos.

Skylanders Trap Team is awesome. I would definitely recommend this game to any video game lover. There are tons of characters to collect. All character have different special moves and functions. The graphics do not disappoint. My Younger son loves this game.

Bought the 360 version for my grandson while I got the PS4 version. I buy the figures fire him to play and when he comes to visit, he brings the figures. Only have to buy them once. Good game, but you only need one set of Masters from each faction

Trap Team follows the excellent Swap Force, so it is natural that people have high expectations. The game delivers on solid Skylanders mechanics but is lacking polish in certain areas. The Kaos Mode is a welcome addition and offers a much needed change to the core game mechanic.

I was skeptical on skylanders as you had to buy figures and such similar to disney infinity and lego dimensions, but with skylanders it's actually quite fun. Humor is mostly for kids but gameplay is actually fun and exploring feels great.

kids are loving this version of skylanders also i'd like to add that i was unaware that all other skylanders from previous series work on this one. Just a heads up for other parents out there.

Young Skylanders fans will have a great time playing Trap Team. It is compatible with all previous figures and introduces a new type of characters in the Trap Masters. What's unique about this game is that you could trap boss villains in their respective element's trap (Water and Life traps included with this game) and play as those villains! Some of these villains make appearances in Superchargers and Imaginators as well.

This game is really fun and my sons (10 and 12) had a blast playing it over the winter break. The reason for the 4 star is that without spending more money on the traps, you can't play it to the full extend.

A fun game yet again, great for all ages really with so many more skylanders to chose from. Highly recommend for co-op play with your kids!

I have this for both the Wii U and the PS4. The graphics and details are so much better on the PS4. Highly recommend it. Great game play.

Great idea of trapping characters from the game to use on your own later in the game. My kids cant wait to get more characters.

My four year old daughter loves this game. I am happy it's simple for her to use and first tv game she ever played.

Each year these games seem to get better and better. Using the trapped villains is actually quite fun as well.
