The kids love the game and are looking forward to the next one.

My review is based on the fact that my 7 year old really wanted a new ga,e that would keep him entertained for a while, unfortunately after the second day I found he was very limited on what he could do without buying more characters. Unless you want to spend another 100 dollars on new pieces for this game I would just skip it

I bought this gaming set for my son and it was a great choice. You get a game and characters that change within the game and make playing even more fun. Characters are built strong and sturdy as well, love it

If you like the previous games in the Skylanders series you will surely like this too. It's much of the same with little variation, though with some added visual flare on the newest consoles. You can use your swap force characters which is a relief for parents whose wallets were likely thinned out the last time around, this helps to get things started with a lesser investment. Still, my kids are having a great time playing and they know the drill. It's fun and easy enough to capture attention for extended periods of time (if you allow it). Not much innovation on the actual gameplay but fun and entertaining. I worry about the long term value...hopefully there will be add ins or DLC to extend the shelf life.

great for kids, and easy to play, but not for adults.

My son has not played anything else but skylanders

Those of you that have not played Skylanders are missing out. The grapics are great, the acting is good, and the writing is very funny. This one might be the best yet!

I bought this for my son and he loves it! Not really an adult orientated game like COD but I can bear through it when I play it with my son. * I would recommend this to a friend with young kids...

Hesitant to buy but glad i did, son absolutely loves it. Only bad thing about it is, he wont let me play. Was on sale so that was even better

I bought this for a Christmas gift for my grandson and he was thrilled when he opened it up.....he has enjoyed it.

This is by far the most expensive Skylanders game available. While my children and I did enjoy the game, the amount you need to invest to feel like you aren't be locked out of portions of it are too much. You can complete the game with everything included in the initial bundle, but you'll constantly be reminded of things you need to purchase to play different aspects of the game. That said, everything in this game can be found much cheaper now, so it's certainly more feasible than when the game was released.

Like the previous skylanders except this one uses traps to get other skylanders instead of figures. This will be an expensive game though.

This game is fun even for adults. Unknown elements are confusing. Hopefully it will become clear as I progress through the fame

This is an excellent edition to the skylanders series. Will provide hours of fun for both kids and parents alike. For fans of the toys to life style games.

Great game for kids and adults can enjoy it as well.Lighthearted dialogue, easy controls and pretty decent length missions.
