Assembly was easy with video and delivery was smooth

I ordered this for my 89y old mom who has moved into a senior living apartment. This recliner arrived in pieces and she had submit a work order to get it to put together and cost her $50 or more to have it assembled. The motor does not work! So, it is not a recliner, just a chair. No way to return it because it won't fit in original packaging (obviously). She does not drive and I am 1200 miles away. This was her Christmas present and I am very disappointed.
