    Seems like a simple deck building game at first where you use cards to attack/defend against creatures in one-on-one encounters, but slowly as you work through obtaining new cards and figuring out the patterns and weaknesses of the 60+ enemy types, the 'magic' of the game starts to show with the deep strategies you need to "Slay the Spire". It's the 2019 Game of the Year in my opinion and is immensely addicting.

    I know calling this game of the year is a big stretch but hear me out. Combining roguelike with deck building/card battle is the most ingenious idea. As well as addictive. So show this game some love and pick it up.

    I am not normally into card games however after seeing a review for this game and seeing a few videos about it i decided to purchase it when it was on sale,the object of this game is to make it to the top of the spire fighting different enemies with cards that you draw from your deck some cards are used for attacking and others are used for defense it is up to you to figure out the best way to use both types to succeed.

    Ive been paying that "other" competitive, collectable card game for so long, it was time I started lloking for another type of this-type of game. The first one I started researching was this, "Slay the Spire". Seeing that it is a PC AND an XBox game raised my interest, since I wanted some more console games. This is a perfect fit, since the console version loses nothing to being played on PC. So I bought it for XBox. OH it is FUN and engaging, and gives that "keep playing a liitle while longer feeling.
