As an American-born Taiwanese, I loved it. I normally love GTA-type games already, and this was basically GTA set in Hong Kong. The gameplay is a little less smooth than Rockstar Games (since it's Square Enix) but still pretty well made. I enjoyed the storyline a lot, and learned a lot of Cantonese profanity, as well as some Cantonese pop songs.

Loved the game. It was perfect. The game was not what I expected. I expected less but I was wrong. It was worth buying the game. More like a movie than a game.

Amazing game! Very good game that did not have a lot of hype behind it. Similar gameplay to grand theft auto. Would definitely recommend.

This is a marvelous open-world action game with a combat system similar to the Batman: Arkham series. The combat is very dynamic and fluid, making you feel like Bruce Lee or Jet Li. A real treat if you like that combat style with lots of combo masteries, weapon techniques and urban technical skills. Your in a highly detailed world with neon signs, realistic ambient sounds and polished npc behavior. Plenty of GTA style missions with rewards from both good and bad deeds. A walk down the thin blue line with it's moral quandary. I heartily recommend Sleeping Dogs to anyone looking for an adult storyline with spectacular combat. One of the best and overlooked games of it's era.

great game play, able to roam the entire map without being tied down to a single mission

My teenager and pre-teen boys really like this game. I'm personally not a fan of M-rated games for kids, but compared to others, this one is not as bad.

Overall it is a good game, I feel it is better than GTA IV, but since GTA V is coming out soon, save you money up for that instead of this game, but if this game comes down in price, I feel this game is well worth $35, or so, anything more is a bit pricey.

Sleeping Dogs doesn't look nearly as good as Grand Theft Auto V, nor is it as fun as the games in the Saints Row series, but it is still a great open world game with a setting (Hong Kong) that sets it apart from the pack. Also, the combat is the best in the genre by far.

It was not what I expected because I was expecting the game to be like true crime.

Awesome game, a Hong Kong version of GTA. Storyline is very good, cut scenes have great graphics and pull you in as the gamer. I don't know why I waited so long to play this game. Pick it up today!!

If you like GTA - you will love this game. The game looks great on the PS3, even better on the PS4. Definitely worth every dollar!

Sleeping Dogs is a great game. It offers hours of playing time and adventure.

I thought I was going to like this for 10 bucks... no such luck....AVERAGE at best, graphics are the only shining point.....

It's a good game if you need a break from gta, the graphics are dated by now and the game play is a little cheesy, but it'll keep you entertained for hours.
