I bought this as a back up to keep camera secured to my vehicle if mount fails. I Velcro the lanyard to my roll cage.

So with that being said invest in your purchase.

However it doesn’t have a front screen to protect the lens. The case makes it very easy to carry the camera around and provides a decent protection for basic use

Great Lanyard Very Bright

It is built pretty well, the lanyard is pretty long and overall a good quality product. The only drawback is that you have to take the GoPro out of it if you want to charge it. Other than that i am very happy I bought it! It saved my GoPro a few times!
