Premium Cord, for your paying for it!

When we ask why? the store representative often tells us the warranty becomes void if we don't purchase the cord. How can you actually sell appliance that we can't have ability to know whether it works or not. I think this is bad add on and milking the customer. I don't think appliance company could void the warranty without giving you the standard cord. Anyhow, other than Costco which you don't have to pay for this side things shame on all other retailers liking this add on. I am giving excellent review for the cord, of course they are excellent for we are paying premium price for it.
