Does not add much bulk to the iPad Mini. The magnetic shut off is a nice feature. The stand made by folding it up is useful for watching videos.

Had a pink one for over a year but wanted a change of color so I bought a bright green one, which I love. It protects the mini ipad screen while being almost weightless allowing me to carry it in my purse. It has a tri-fold feature that allows me to use it standing on an angle similar to a picture frame. Easy, no fuss cover in an interesting color. Poly cover is easier to manage than leather cover.

If you're trying to protect you iPad, this is not the case for you. It's a good case, but it does nothing more than make your iPad screen turn on and off automatically and look pretty. You're better off getting a case on Amazon for $11 that will give you a back case and the same technology as this iPad cover. I only use this case when I'm at home and need to clean my iPad and when I'm too lazy to put my case back on.

Perfectly fit with iPad mini2. Don't buy a cheap case or cover, you may spend more money to replace with a right case or cover later.

I purchased this Smart Cover as a replacement for one I had in red that I got dirty beyond cleaning. Most smudges and dirt come off easily enough but oily soot does not. (don't ask) That said I purchased the same brand and style cover again because I like them so much. The price is higher than 3rd party products, but Apple makes a very good durable cover. The lining is a suede like material that protects the screen and helps keep it clean. These covers work best when combined with a secondary back cover.

Because I did not read this item before I purchase I was not aware that it did not come with a back cover. The reason I purchased this was thinking it was a cover for my ipad. It is very easy to attach it's magnetic. it fits and cover the screen perfectly. Then I just purchased a clear cover for my ipad and its compatible with this item which is great.

I got a new iPad mini, and wanted to make sure to get something to protect it. Case works as advertised and the dark grey is nice offset with the device itself. The cover can also be folded to serve as a backstop to watch videos hands-free
