Technician was professional and did an excellent job

Product is very good...Best Buy installers only did the lock and then couldn't get the Nest cameras to run for the other half of the project

Install was fast and straightforward..I feel safe with the code and deadbolt .

i have been presently surprised with the quality of service and the communications with both the store, the Geek Squad and the telephone support. Noah was our tech and he installed and connected 2 Nest Thermostats, a keyless door lock and connected them to Alexa and phones. Noah communicated ahead of appointment, showed up on time, followed all COVID protocol and was patient and thorough in explaining how to get us set up on phones and with Alexa. Highly recommend him.

The agents who instslled the locks were knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They explained everything in detail and made sure the lock was working correctly before they left my home.

Not as nice as SimpleHuman, but much less expensive. Would have been nice is the cover was steel or silver color.

Geek Squad is the bomb when it comes to home service. I’ve had a few experiences with them and they have always been super professional, on time, and knowledgeable about what they were doing. Plus, their prices are unbeatable at Best Buy stores. If you need someone to help you set up or fix your electronics, then Geek Squad should be your go-to team.

The technician took time to install this. Unfortunately once it was done this Yale lock firmware did not work. They had to de install the lock and put the old one back in. I had this same lock (but with optional key use) in my office in Rancho Mirage. It works great. But this time it totally flopped. I brought it back to the store and the store manager took it at the return desk. He was absolutely rude and did not care about it. It seems like BestBuy newer employees are just plain rude. If management is reading this, you should give them a lesson on how to be respectful to a customer. I notice this is behavior in most of their stores in recent years.

Tech arrived on time and spent double the expected time getting the install right. The latch didn’t align perfectly so he spent the extra time getting it to align and work.

Installed well but a battery was missing for a connecting device and then the wrong one was recommended. Took a while before all was complete.

The technician was unable to install the smart door lock so that it would communicate with my iPhone. I was able to complete the work myself.

The unit was installed quickly and efficiently. He explained how to use it and to access the the phone app. Love the device.

The agents installed a replacement smart door lock better than the builder original. The opening was tricky and the lock wasn't engaging properly but Geek Squad took their time and was able to make the necessary modifications to get it to work and it worked perfectly. Agents were kind, considerate, informative and kept me in the loop. I appreciate the extra time they took to ensure the unit was working properly before they left.

installed, still having issues with wifi connection, not installed properly as it sits crooked on our front door.

The team was fantastic. Very supportive and willing to navigate the equipment I purchased. Pleasant to communicate with and very resourceful for future needs. Having a resource like this, helps to ensure anything from a smart lock to a large appliance is managed and installed accurately.

The guys had to come back 3 times as the nest brand we originally bought had 2 prongs that would line up with our older door. They might have known that this nest brand was a problem but they did not. BUT THE BEST BUY MAN AT THE STORE KNEW and told me to switch to Yale brand that only had one prong and fit our door. The guys came back & did a great install of Yale.

Deadbolt continuously locks when you open the door, not working properly only supposed to lock when door is closed

The August smart door lock from Best Buy is awesome! It is working perfectly in our home. The keypad is also slim. We can still use our old key as the deadbolt is not replaced and it is installed inside the door. I would highly recommend this smart door lock to anyone.

Best Buy had to refer to third party company, because it is a security product. To set this up, I had to go to the store 4 times. Finally, it was handled professionally. I am 100% happy with quality of Geek Squad. The issue was with Best Buy procedures.

The installer was on time and very efficient, pleasant, and hard working. Made the install very easy.
