I actually got a kick out of watching the installation the gentleman was actually kneeling down forehead was showing beads of sweat and he was shaking just a little as if he was disarming a bomb; he was really concentrating on what he was doing and he did an awesome job!

The tech was awesome! He was professional and very familiar with the product I needed installed. It took very little time. Unfortunately I has issues trying to get the device online but that had nothing to do with my technician. He was very respectful of my home and used PPE the entire time,

The man sent had never installed the August lock before. I opened a YouTube video that he watched before installing. He also called the August help line at least 5 times or more to get it done. He knew nothing about how the lock worked with WiFi. He even gave me misinformation. I was able to set it up correctly after he left. He did install the physical lock correctly. He was set up to fail.

I had an August door lock installed. The Geek put the hardware on, but was not able to get the software to work properly. We left it like that. The lock would not open or close via WiFi. It only worked manually. A follow up Geek discovered that Geek #1 had bent some of the parts in trying to install the lock, hence the lock would not close or open properly. He fixed it good enough to sorta work, but said that the real answer would be to totally replace the lock. After I bought a new lock (the latest generation that did not need a wifi bridge), Geek #3 came to install the lock. He did a wonderful job. I had to reprogram it when I unplugged the bridge unit, but it was easily done. The lock works great. I can control it from anywhere, and I get notices when anybody enters or leave the house. It took a total of six tries to get the lock successfully installed. This is not what I expect from Best Buy. Fortunately, all my other installations were done by a different crew and were correct the first time.

While we're happy to hear that your installation was ultimately completed successfully, having to work with multiple installers to complete the work certainly doesn't live up to the stellar standard to which we aspire. While my house was a lil tricky as its 2 zone with 2 nests thermos to b installed but the techs were no familiar with 2 nests in same house. It took me many hours more to complete install.
I had to set up both yale nest lock and both nest thermos wasnt worth the $360 I paid.
The techs were nice and competent but need more thorough training....

My August lock needed a replacement and Geeksquad took care of it! GeekSquad kept me informed of the statice of the repair and was great at finishing the task at hand. Very great job delivering and informing the customer.

Love the features. However, I recommend being dang sure the door frame metal bolt square is centered and properly carved out. Ours was not, and as a result, now I need to contact someone to redo installation. Hope to heck its covered too. Right this moment (02/03/21, 930p) am about to call B Buy check warranty for this.

The agent who came to install the lock was excellent! Police, kind, wearing mask, patient and did the job in no time.
He made up for bad experiences with Geek Squad. Got 3 times an appointment canceled to get a microwave delivered and installed. Next week 4th try… I bought it November!!

Love not having to carry a key and the agility to create a code for anyone and track when they arrive and when they leave.

Technician installed the Elite Vision door lock professionally fast and accurately. He also assisted me to program it into my phone and made sure that all my family phones are working correctly.

The Geek squad was efficient and the service precise. The product was good too. I love it! Great to check my phone to make sure the door is looked even after I have left the vicinity of the home. I can let someone in without having to share my code.

I've had lots of problems in the past with different contractors that Best Buy sent for an install. Finally this time the install contractor was very professional and friendly. Did not have any problems. Slowly rebuilding my confidence in these services.
