    geek squad install smart home yale x keyless lock

    i bought a new yale x lock (smart) for my house, the installer did a great job, explained to me how it with with my smart phone, nest home max, it is keyless so that great, just a 4 number code. Very pleased with the install again it only took about 45min with worth the price, and peace of mind. great job

    The tech did a fantastic job removing and replacing the bad lock with a new one. Programmed it and it works perfectly. Very very happy now.

    Geek Squad installed/synced smart lock.

    Agent Brian Sutton promptly installed the lock. After repeated trys to sync it with my WiFi Brian determened that the lock was defective. He took the device with him and returned the next day with a replacement. He then again installed the new lock, synced it with the wifi and even helped me download and setup the app. GREAT JOB -- Brian Sutton.

    The agent installed my lock quickly, downloaded the App to my phone, and thoroughly explained the App and how to navigate it. Follow up service was offered if needed. The agents were very friendly and informative.

    Fabulous lock and even greater service! Folks for over a decade I knew this and have experienced first hand that Best Buy is it, it’s the only place I get all my technology.

    Nest lock installation

    The lock installation was performed on the day the installation was promised. Instructions on how to use the installed product was provided after the installation was completed. We are enjoying using the nest lock.

    The agent arrived early and immediately started work determining the wifi connection problem with the smart lock. He was knowledgeable and efficient. The lock was installed and programed quickly and he cleaned and disinfected before he left. Very please with his work and the features of the smart lock.

    I purchased a smart lock from Best Buy and was offered a service from them to come an install it for me. This service was a life saver because I didn’t have an idea how to install the lock. Also, when I had any trouble they came right back out and fixed the issue with no problems. I would use this service for every product to be installed.

    The initial install occured on August 1. I filed my complaint on August 8 and was told I would have resolution in 5 days, but that has not occurred and now we are in October with no resolution. The damage occurred because the installer claimed he could not install the strike plate on the door frame, which I would later realize was a complete falsity. By doing this, he butchered the lock mechanism so that it would not close flushly with the door due to improperly installed screws, thus causing it to not close properly and scrape vigorously against the door frame. Then, a second installer had to come and had to yanked out the lock mechanisim and created all of the gaps around the hole. When we asked him to fix it, he took out some putty and put around the area, which we told him was totally inadequate as the lock mechanism and the door have now been compromised. This is a brand new door (we just remodeled our home) and it and the door frame are destroyed because of this installation.

    professionals are good but scheduling not managed well. even after scheduling they mentioned that it is not in their record. so i need to schedule again and it takes minimum 1 week to get appointment.

    The squad was very helpful, full of info. and tips/shortcuts. Absolutely knew what they were talking about, and went above and beyond to make sure my wife knew what she was doing, how to use the app, etc.

    Had a bad experience with the 3rd party vendor company they used, but Geek Squad installation was great! He was punctual, professional and got the job done. He even came back a few days later when I was having a minor issue. Very pleased and will use them again!

    A great service - the team which arrived had not installed this lock in the past it was their 1st time and they did an awesome job - though there was a challenge of replacing this lock in the same spot they resolved the issue and installed the lock

    Life is so much easier without keys.. the men installed my lock, set my iPhone , and fully explained the function of my lock. All while being pleasant and courteous.

    Geek Squad was successful with installing my Nest Thermostat. The Nest lock was installed, but did not work well with my door, and the technician removed a hurricane dead bolt only partially, leaving a hole in the door and a rattling noise of loose parts inside the door. He was unable to install the Nest doorbell, because we didn't have electricity to the spot where the fixture was to go. He said that he'd put that in his notes, and Geek Squad would credit us. It never happened. After multiple calls to Best Buy, I finally was connected to someone who said they'd investigate my Geek Squad service call. I returned the Nest doorlock to the store and received credit for the item, but have not been credited for the faulty installation. I disputed the charge with American Express as not receiving the services I paid for.
