Geek Squad advised me to purchase Windows 7 software available on line from Best Buy and Geek Squad told me that all I had to do was insert the Windows 7 software in my CD drive and follow the screen instructions to upgrade and replace unsupported Windows XP. Windows 7 Pro Cost was $143. When I inserted the software a warning message appeared saying It was not compatible with my computer software. Returning to Geek Squad I was now told they would wipe my hard drive clean and install the software but I would have to buy an external hard drive and pay them an additional $85 plus $50 for the hard drive if I wanted my data back. Best Buy policy is not to accept opened software for credit so I am out $143. I pledged never to set foot in Best Buy or Geek Squad ever again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
