Snake Eyes : G.I. Joe Origins [ includes Digital Copy ] [4K Ultra HD lu-ray] [2021] was recommended to me by a friend. The movie is a high paced action movie that keeps your interest going.

As a prequil to GI Joe, it ties the later two GI Joe movies together well. Origin movies are like puitting the cart before the horse but do tend to answer many questions left by the proceding films.

Soso entry. I still like Marvels original origin with Viet Nam etc. but this is a nice update on it. It does throw out movies origin which is ok but sometimes acknowledging prior history helps.

Not exactly what I thought but a pretty good origin story. Interesting that when you look at the flashbacks in the GI Joe movies, you don’t see the exact tie in but a good enough standalone.

This isn’t the comic book/ cartoon accurate origin of the character Snake eyes but the movie does a great job revitalizing the franchise for new fans and something old fans will love as well

This is one of the best-looking UHD Blu-rays I have ever seen. It was like watching a movie set in one of the 4K demos on Youtube. Colors looked incredible and it was like looking through a window. Every UHD enthusiast should own this. The movie itself was quite enjoyable too.

This movie was way better than we thought it would be. Not hokey or silly, but well thought-out with a good script that holds together and is backed by some incredible action and fight sequences. There aren't big names in here, A-list stars galore, but you won't miss them. Everyone cast steps up just fine.

This movie had a really good angle, and especially for an origins movie of a GI Joe character I grew up to as an 80s baby. Loved the film and acting! This is a Black Friday purchase, so I’m definitely happy with the price and value! Def recommend!

Good movie that gives a good backstory of Snake Eyes. the 4K is amazing. Can be a stand alone movie or good for those who are not familiar to the GI Joe story

Different from all the origins stories I read in comic books, but that was 25+ years ago. Had to return the 1st purchase. Blu-ray played, but when it got to the movie the opening border of the Play, Setup, Extra, Etc. tool bar would not disappear. Returned for another copy & it played great!!!

The movie itself is a lot of fun, and coming from a collector's POV, this is a nice case, just not great. They definitely could've gotten more creative with it.

Strayed away more than I would of cared for from the initial source material. I never expect the movies to be exactly like the book but the storyline they developed for the movie didn't make much sense to me personally and didn't give the character the level of debt that the comics did. He came off like an angry child only looking for vengeance. Even the storyline behind the Arishikage clan wasn't very good in my opinion either. Not bad action scenes but that's as much as I liked about the movie.

I enjoyed this movie and it wasn’t as bad as some would say. Was it perfect? No. It’s still entertaining with some great action scenes. Solid 4K presentation as well.

Overall, it was not a bad movie. The previous G.I. Joe movies were much better. It had a good story line and origin but not could have had much more action.

If you are a G.I. Joe fan, then this is the movie for you. It’s storyline touches upon Snake Eyes. Everyone can relate to it. Cast helped to bring the characters to life and allow you to relate to it very easily. Will not disappoint. Definitely should be part of one’s movie collection.

Better than I expected considering it was all new actors. I prefered the original cast myself but with him being unmasked during most of the movie it made sense.

Entertaining over-the-top action to be had , just don't expect it to follow the original character that the comic book is based on, enjoy it for what it is

Not a great G I Joe movie but an entertaining martial arts film. Good action and fight scenes. The only thing that makes this a G I Joe film is the names of the characters and the Cobra symbol stamped here and there throughout the film. This steelbook is beautiful...if you're a collector.

Good movie great action scenes it dose not explain why snake eyes doesn’t talk but still a good movie

I really enjoyed the way Snake Eyes origins was told. I do not know a lot about G.I. Joe in general. I am glad i bought the movie for my collection.
