This drone has a mind of its own

It simply went out of control and started flying away until hitting the neighbors house. The weather was great, not windy and still it became just uncontrollable. The Best Buy service was great when I returned the item.

It's our first ever so it's a little complicated but we're learning. We do have a hard time sometimes connecting the phone. And haven't figured out yet how to see the video on the phone but to use the controller to steer it

Nice starter Drone

Its small size does make it a bit unstable in a light breeze but i expected rhat. At this price point I was very impressed with its range and picture quality, definately a great value.

We hope you could understand that the theory for beginner drones to hover is to hold altitude by its built-in air pressure gauge, which defines the height it hovers, but could not control the direction it moves.
In this situation, it is normal that the drone can’t sit in one exact spot during the flight. Also, we suggest that you fly the drone in a no wind or breeze day and open field place where there are no trees/woods around.

We turned it on, beautiful day with no wind, and it took off about 60 feet in the air, hitting a tree and getting stuck. We weren't even touching the controls on the remote and, when it took off, the remote wouldn't work to stop it.

Did you recalibrate your drone before flight? Since the SP680 is a beginner drone, we suggest that you fly the drone on a no wind or breeze day and in an open field place where there are no trees/woods around.
